Our stay was amazing
The owners are very approachable
They allow dogs, and you are greeted at reception from Alfie( the dog)
Close to everything
Easy to find
Will happily recommend to visitors and would love to stay again
Kudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.

The location is very good, George Street is the main street of Dunedin, and there are also motels around, named George Street**. The hotel also delivered a bottle of milk and a two-pack cereal breakfast. It is the most cost-effective hotel in my travel booking.
The location is close to the center of Dunedin, close to the University of Otago and the First Church. The room is large, clean, equipped with bathroom and kitchen, and free parking in the courtyard.
Facilities: Not very new
Hygiene: very good
Good environment
good service
Clean and tidy. The manager, Barry, gave us an overview of the City. He recommended to us to visit the University and Brewery which were very good too. I hope to return on my next trip to Dunedin.
In addition, the washing machine in the room was a plus for us to clean up our dirty clothes during our trip.
The hotel in North Dunedin was a perfect blend of convenience and comfort. The well-appointed rooms offered a cozy retreat, and the hotel's location near the local attractions made it an ideal choice for leisure travelers. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The hotel's proximity to restaurants and shops added to the overall convenience, making it a great base for exploring Dunedin.
Although this hotel is a bit old, I like the natural and simple taste very much. The room is big enough and it's only a five-minute walk from the university. It's so convenient! Parking at the door is also very convenient.
About 3 kilometers away from Dunedin city center, the area is relatively quiet but there is not much to stroll around. The equipment and facilities are relatively old and the sanitary conditions are average. It is worth the price but not much compared to the previous apartment. Highlights.
Motel is very close to Otago University. It’s okay to go to a new university in New Zealand. The historic clock tower is pretty and majestic. Turn right at the hotel crossroads and eat at the restaurant. Walk to Dunedin Railway Station. 20 minutes. The interior of the Motel is the normal level in New Zealand. The boss is very enthusiastic. The ice cream is given in the room. The room size is not large with a microwave oven. The parking door is a one-way street and can only turn left.

Amazing
XXUThe hotel is on the slope at the end of George Street, overlooking Dunedin. The appearance is small and fresh, and the inside is exquisite. It is so clean. Kitchenware, tableware, washing machine and dryer are all available. The superior one-bedroom room has a large bed + a single bed, especially suitable for a family of three.
ZZhengguangThe room was very clean and large. There was no one there when we went there. A Chinese lady from the motel next door gave us the key. Parking was also very convenient. There was a convenience store nearby. I think it was pretty good.
EEstoniaTravel to Queenstown, choose to stop for a short day via Danidin, spend a night at Dunidin Motel and Villa, very satisfied! The lady at the reception was very warm and welcoming, and introduced Daniting's good places and food. Arranged us to stay in the newly built villa. The appearance is very attractive. The equipment inside is all available. There are all food and beverage supplies. The dishwasher is very suitable for a family vacation. There are many places to visit nearby, just a ten-minute walk to the city's shops, it is worth recommending!
AaikoVery good garden-style bed is very comfortable, the environment is also good, it is convenient to eat, the price is more affordable, very good, the boss is very warm, very good, satisfied is that the room is a little smaller, if it is bigger, it is better.
GGuest UserExcellent hospitality! The motel has a good location, it is very clean and tidy. The host is so helpful and provides us with some attraction routes, which is more interesting than driving through the highway! And Rocky (Labrador) is soooo cute! We will definitely recommend this motel to our friends!
GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient, right on the main street, and the owner is very helpful. The environment is good, the service is good, the sanitation is comfortable, very satisfied, will come again, recommend friends to stay in Dunedin.
吴吴The hotel has a variety of bed type rooms with separate or non-independent washrooms, and rooms with separate washrooms have wash basins. The location is very good, the Auckland University campus and the city, train station, etc. can be reached on foot, the train station is a little far away, about 1.6 km. There is a simple breakfast sharing in the common area, coffee, hot chocolate and bread, instant noodles and more. No extra beds, children can rent a room in a family hotel, free parking. Although the room is a bit old, the whole building is very historical, and the landlord is very kind.
GGuest UserParking is convenient and the room is not bad. The front desk is a little beauty from Harbin. The conversion plug we brought was forgotten in the last hotel and borrowed the conversion plug from the front desk. Thank you very much.
