Lawlors Hotel

We were part of a coach party . We found all the staff friendly and helpful . The set food menu had a good choice (happy to change if there was nothing you liked ) and was cooked well and served piping hot . The rooms were kept clean daily and had a modern bathroom . Location is perfect a couple of mins walk to the square and shopping centre . A further 5 min walk to the pretty harbour with some lovely pubs along the front . Thank you to all your staff for making our stay enjoyable .Hard work I know but all service was given with a smile 😊

Very enjoyable stay at Lawlors Hotel. We were made very welcome by Catherine and received top-class service from Mickey and the staff. There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel. Our bedroom was very comfortable, and the food in the dining room was delicious. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will definitely be returning.

Dining room closed at 6 in evening. Told it was only available to large group bookings. Bar menu food limited.Guy maybe the owner pouncing on you as you enter bar shouting food or drink. Witnessed food orders that did not look appetising. So we ordered toasted sandwiches and chips .50 minutes later no food arrived .We queried and we were told a mistake had been made with our order so we left.Place looks like it has seen better days a long time ago.Strong smell of urine and chipped paint work.10 euro plus for a pint and half pint of lager.Freezing cold because aircon was on.As we left met other patrons who also got fed up of waiting for food.Shame as this hotel is in the town centre. Never again.

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay. The room was spacious,comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a delicious meal in the bar - food was good and service excellent! Overall a great stay

Staff very good, breakfast excellent, great central location, rooms clean but a little dated and tired looking.

I was very impressed with the service at this hotel. Antoinette at reception was super helpful both prior to my stay and during it. Also thanks to the ladies in the bar for providing a jug of miwadi to take up to my room. My one quibble - flies in the doorway - this was a bit of a shock. Surely there is something that can be done to address this? Otherwise no complaints. Thanks for having me :)

I had a wonderful experience at Lawlors Hotel in Dungarvan, and it was the kindness of the staff that really made the experience memorable. From the moment I dealt with their staff, everyone was so warm and considerate, going out of their way to make sure I felt looked after. The atmosphere of the hotel matched that same welcoming spirit — comfortable, friendly, and the kind of place where you feel instantly at ease. It’s clear the staff genuinely care about their guests, and that kind of hospitality makes all the difference. I would happily return and would recommend Lawlors Hotel to anyone visiting Dungarvan looking for a truly great stay.

Hotel service good although hotel itself a bit dated need returning. Aoibeen on reception is excellent
