Comfortable spacious bedroom with pristine clean bathroom .Food in the dining room was very good . I would recommend booking ahead for the dining room as the bar area can be busy and noisy at the weekends. ( same menu) Good choice of food . Guinness is good also . Breakfast was cooked to order and plentiful . Friendly and helpful local staff . Good value for money .Its more old world than modern - but that's part of its charm and character.

Stayed in Bunbeg so we only had a meal. The beer was excellent. The Thai green curry and the meat dish also excellent (except for the gravy was on the meat and not separate as requested). All the staff were busy but very friendly and helpful. Would recommend for a meal if your in the area. Go raibh maith agat.

On the positive side the location is good, the views are lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had a very nice dinner and a decent breakfast. Unfortunately it was not all positive. Our room was above the pub where there was loud music until nearly midnight followed by a loud singing session until the early hours. This was followed by the noise of the customers leaving and making noise outside. If you are a light sleeper I would really not recommend this hotel. The decor is basic and a bit tired although the beds are comfortable. The shower was one of the worst I have experienced, terrible water pressure and we really struggled to get the product out of the wall mounted holder. Bring your own.

We are traveling from the USA and our travel agent had booked us a room for the night in Derry. It was absolutely horrible so we decided not to stay there and to keep driving toward our next destination. While on the way, we went through the poisoned glen (10/10…. Definitely check it out if you have time) and we thought we would find accommodations along the way. We stumbled upon Teac Jacks…. How lucky are we!!? The woman at the front desk was nothing short of an angel. She went SO FAR above and beyond to help make us comfortable, even offering to go and pick up the food we had ordered from a nearby take-away herself!!! (We arrived after the kitchen had closed or we certainly would have eaten here!) We are traveling as a group of 5 (myself, my mother and 3 kids)….. She went out of her way and came up to our room to bring us extra towels and soap that we hadn’t even requested! The room was top notch! SO clean and comfortable!! By FAR the best place we have stayed in during our week in Ireland. I wish that we could stay here longer! If we ever get the chance to come back and visit this beautiful Island this will be the first place that I book!!!

Although my first choice of fish and chips was unavailable, the curry was excellent and filling. Just what I needed and the Guinness was excellent too. The decor is a little dark and dated but overall this was a good experience and we will be back!

This is a long overdue review. My family and relations stayed at this fantastic hotel some years back. It was a reunion and we were all very well looked after. The reception and all the people working here have a "can do" approach to all the guests and patrons using the bar and restaurant. The food here is lovely and well presented. The hotel uses locally sourced ingrediencies and this makes the food tasty and environmentally good for the planet. I highly recommend this as the place to stay when visiting this beautiful part of Donegal. Thank you for making our stay one filled with great memories. 5STARS
