"This was our second stay at the Cedars Guest House. Our first stay was in 2019 and when returning to Dunoon for a second visit to this delightful town, we had no second thoughts about staying at the Cedars again. Jackie and Ray are wonderful hosts. Jackie cares about her guests, and goes above and beyond to help ensure that your stay in the area is as best as it can be. Her attention to detail and knowledge is just amazing. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice shower and the view from the rooms overlooking the firth are wonderful. Added to that the comfortable chairs to watch the activity on the firth, one could just be content sitting and observing. However, knowing there is so much to see and do, and knowing that a wonderful breakfast is waiting for you, spurs you on to get going in the morning and take on the day. After a day of seeing the sights, it is nice to relax in those comfortable chairs with a cup of tea and just appreciate your good fortune to have had the opportunity to be in Dunoon at the Cedars."

"We stayed at Douglas Park for the first time when we got married in Dunoon in 2015, and this is what we wrote in their guest book: "A perfect room with a perfect view, perfect breakfasts, and of course perfect hosts - we couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our little wedding, and we feel like we've made new friends here. Thank you!" This year we celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary in Scotland, and of course we had to visit DP again, too (our third time there). It was like coming home.
