Azur en Ardenne

Azur en Ardenne ★★★★

📍 Rue de la Jastrée 31, Durbuy

"Friendly staff and great facilities. Clean hotel and good breakfast."

Hotel Sanglier
8.6 (68 reviews)

Hotel Sanglier ★★★★★

📍 Pl. aux Foires 2, Durbuy

"Almost €500 for a rather small, dark room with no reading light, a parking lot view, a standard bathroom including a toilet, and noisy at night due to the parking lot noise – not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. In the morning, there was no room in the breakfast room, which is huge like a cafeteria, and it was just as noisy. Very touristy! The meal in the tapas restaurant was very good, but the service was very slow. In short, a very mixed review."

Mont-Des-Pins

Mont-Des-Pins ★★★

Les Chambres du Vivier, Chambres d'hôtes à Durbuy

Les Chambres du Vivier, Chambres d'hôtes à Durbuy ★★★

📍 Vivier Madame 11, Durbuy

"We were received very kindly here by the owner. He gave us all kinds of tips for excursions and restaurants. The room was very beautiful: spacious, a lovely bed, and a great shower. The breakfast was also well-prepared, with tasty local products. Nothing to complain about; definitely recommended if you are in the area."

Hotel la Librairie
8.6 (15 reviews)

Hotel la Librairie ★★

📍 Rue du Comte Théodule d'Ursel 20, Durbuy

"This is obviously not the five-star experience of the (expensive) hotel next door, but if you’re looking for a perfectly located hotel (50m from the Place aux Foires), with free car parking space (behind the hotel) and convenient rooms, just don’t look any further! The hotel is located above a bookshop (reception desk can be found in the shop, rooms are accessible by a separate door once checked in) and run by a friendly, hard-working family. In summer, breakfast can be taken from the terrace overlooking the Ourthe river. For the less mobile hosts: please note that the hotel has no elevator. Conclusion: this was a great choice for our long weekend in Durbuy. Highly recommended."

Hotel la Passerelle

Comme à la Ferme ★★★

📍 Bohon 21, Durbuy

"The room was very comfortable and the room was very dark 🍅 There was a very dark room with no much outside light compared to the other 3 rooms. We were 7. The breakfast is not warm enough coffee, mini pistols and mini chocolate bread .. . freezes , a little charcuteries, confectionery, cheese triangle to bake .... we were a little disappointed otherwise everything is okay."

"Great place, nice food, beautiful surroundings, and very nice wellness. I would say it’s 5/5,but the lady at the reception with glasses is unfortunately is very unpleasant. We felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome talking to her. The rest of the staff were amazing! Great experience overall."

"We had already stayed at this hotel two years ago and were happy with it. In the past, we had booked a suite, but not this time, although we did book a superior room. The bathroom wasn't very clean; there were still some hairs and bits of hair, which I found quite unacceptable. There was a wooden board fixed under the bathtub in the room. When we arrived in the elevator, the lights weren't attached to the ceiling. When I tried to plug in my charger, I found the charging pad in my hands, which I then put back in, but it was still dangling. The bed wasn't comfortable, much too hard and sagging in places. We had a very difficult night, trying to get to sleep despite everything, as we were eagerly awaiting this weekend after a busy year and were very tired. We had lunch and then headed home to rest, which is completely out of character for this kind of service in a 5-star hotel. I can't afford this kind of luxury often, but we were quite disappointed and aren't usually ones to complain, but I think it's important to mention it, just as we politely did at check-out to the hostess. We ate at the Wagyu restaurant, and no amuse-bouche was offered after our drinks, while our neighbors at the next table were served them almost immediately after being seated... before even getting a bottle of water. The main courses then arrived and were very good, although the starter (carpaccio) was very small for such a high price."

"Good ... At the base we are not too much campaign and well being but the metal festival in Bomal has brought us here ... Heat and personalized home in a cocoon, full of cache and too well decorated. The opinion must contain at least 200 characters"

Hotel Tropical ★★★★
"We went with our kids at a time when the place was basically empty. In spite of that, the staff was wonderful. We chose the hotel because of the location. It's right around the corner from the Adventure Valley and from Durbuy. It is in a great area for seeing castles, caves, and rural Belgium. The breakfasts were absolutely great. Far beyond our expectations. And when we chose to eat at the hotel in the evening, the food was just incredible. To set expectations, the property is a little older and it shows. It's going to come off like an older but very workable AirBnB. There are going to be some blemishes and signs of age. But the rooms are clean. The linens are clean. Things work. The WIFI works. And the location cannot be beat. If your goal is to see and experience things in the Durbuy area, it would be hard to stay somewhere better."
