The room is large, clean and hygienic, no difference from the star hotel in the big city, the service is warm, the friends who are free to travel, are not willing to take the car for nearly 4 hours, choose to take the train to Mawei, visit Xiaoqikong, there are few train people, equivalent to a small sleeper, one person and one row of seats, after Mawei, The hotel owner picks up the station for free. We went to Xiaoqikong the next day. The car contacted by the boss was only 200 yuan for round trip. It was affordable.

The door of the homestay is really not conspicuous at night, and the small bridge that goes in is really not like a car can go. I called the young lady to make sure that I didn’t go wrong. A small road winds in but there is a large place. There are many very special small buildings, as well as camping bases. The homestay also organized ”fireplace KTV” (the off-season is less crowded, and when there are many people, it is a bonfire party)
Before leaving, my brother also introduced the ticket reduction activities to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. I saved us a few hundred dollars. I am very grateful.

🍀 Jiayi Village in Dushan County, southeastern Guizhou is a village inhabited by Buyi and Bai ethnic groups. It is located on the peaks of 1,200 meters above sea level. It takes half an hour from Dushan County along the winding winding mountain road. There are three oldest old wooden houses here in 1958. With the theme of poetry, they have been transformed into 8 guest rooms with different design styles, named: Book of Songs, Yong Huai Shi, Taibai, Zimei, Dongpo, Baishi, Shangyin, Nineteen ancient poems. 🍀 One of them has become a very unique library, named ”Bicheng Books”. There are three large bookshelves next to it, covering an entire oversized wall from top to bottom. The old furniture has been re-scrubbed And restoration, the old building was built into a new space, still maintaining the original memory of time. 🍀 They have a total of four stores in Guizhou. Bicheng is the second store of the ”Heart of the Mountains” brand. It took 6 years to form a team that specializes in renovating old houses, from drawing, material preparation, infrastructure, From decoration to layout, new functions have been awakened in old buildings. Arriving at the entrance of the crack rock is 2 pm, the sky is light rain, the original drizzle and the crack rock are so suitable, the clear air, the bright green, the mist rendered by the top of the mountain, the water is still as clear as a glass drill. There is a road in front of the road, don't worry about getting lost, when you arrive at the fork, the hotel will hang signs, and you can meet tourists who come to the crack rock along the way. Go to the fork of a camping camp. The tourists who go to the hotel and the Great Falls will be separated. Later, I did not know how long I had been walking alone, and climbed several steep slopes one after another, worried that I would get lost, until I crossed the last bend, an old-fashioned stockade appeared in front of me, and I was relieved. At this time, the rain was heavy, the stockade was quietly covered in the wind and rain mist, and the villagers were few. A horse ate grass in the rice field on the cliff. A villager enthusiastically pointed me to the mountain road (very authentic mountain stone road) to the hotel. After 2 hours and 45 minutes, I finally slipped on the side of the road.
I was a guest that day. The housekeeper Chunchun and the chef and his wife lived in the village, but Chunchun worried that I was afraid alone, so I stayed in the store that day. Yes, the mountains and old forests are inaccessible, and one person lives in an old house alone. Don't mention how exciting this feels! Actually not afraid at all hahaha!
The chef is a local villager, and the dishes are very authentic. I ate the fish in the sour soup that night, and taught me how to eat with pickled pepper + onion + sour soup. The taste sublimated another level. The housekeeper Chunchun is a young man who loves life. He took me to visit waterfalls, pick tea, and experience the fun of wild attractions. When I left, I also walked a few kilometers to the exit of the crack rock.
The light was turned off early on the night of the check-in, and I suddenly woke up at 2 am. It was raining heavily at that time. I listened to the sound of rain beating the eaves and the sound of streams not far away. The mountains were so quiet and everything was beautiful. I suddenly didn't want to sleep.

It has one of the most beautiful views overlooking tea plantations and mountains in the distance. 🍵 🌅 The sunset from the balcony is just divine. We communicated easily through WeChat prior to arrival and the staff were very friendly and helpful in trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and luxurious and the beds were very comfortable. The dinner was absolutely divine and served on the balcony for us to enjoy the sunset. There were a couple things that could have made our stay a little better and are important to note. These bungalows get full sun all day, so on sunny days like when we arrived, they were very very hot. It cools down at night a little which is great, but our room had an issue with both Wifi and the AC so it was very very warm. The floors weren’t that clean, there was some dust and the bathtub hadn’t been properly cleaned. For this price point these are expected at a better standard. Overall it was a really nice experience, the location perfect, the mountains are very quiet and secluded and the night stars were epic! It’s just these small details that added up- felt detracted from how wonderful these bungalows could be. Again, the staff was very helpful in trying to solve these small issues and the food and early moring views were incredible! Would def go back for those things!

JJiaotangnaichajiazhenzhubujiatangIt is far from Wanfenglin to Xiaoqikong, and I chose Dushan as the middle station to rest for one night. The hotel is very new, but compared to the higher accommodation price during the Dushan festival, the service and breakfast are slightly average. There is no fruit, the refrigerator is empty, and there are a few bottles of mineral water in the room.
The courtyard room type stayed in, there were slippers thrown by the previous guest on the diagonal opposite the bed. At the same time, that night was the Mid-Autumn Festival and there were no gifts. The new hotel needs to continue to improve and improve.
