La Cabana Beach Resort & Casino

We re-visited La Cabana Beach Resort & ****** in Aruba while staying at a nearby resort to shop at one of their many restaurants, bakeries, markets and clothing stores. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and decent prices. Their steak fajitas and grouper lunch meals were delicious.

We went as a couple and stayed at La Cabana for 12 days. Overall, it was a good visit and would stay here again. Loved the location for restaurants and really nice having Super Foods in easy walking distance. We stayed in a studio and I would not recommend it for anyone other then 2 adults. It had all the amenities we needed and the bed was very comfortable. If you are a pool person, I wouldn’t recommend staying here until the new pool is done in December 2025. The newly built adult pool is better than nothing but people really do go out at 2:00am in order to get a table, chairs, and umbrella spot due to them being limited. Love the daily water aerobics at 10:00. Both instructors are great. The ****** is very convenient and we did come out ahead. We will definitely be back as we enjoyed the resort and prefer Eagle Beach.

La Cabana employee on Eagle Beach ripped us off for $30 for broken down dirty beach chairs that should have been free! They wear the orange La Cabana shirts on the beach. Better vetting of employees please!!! He then lied to his supervisor and changed his appearance thinking we would not recognize him!

Came here with my family for our trip to Aruba. It will be our last. It’s not a place to bring your family. The rooms are not spacious to accommodate families (a small hallway with two small rooms at the end of each hallway , one with a bed, and another with a pulled out couch and a small kitchen). You can absolutely hear everything your neighbors do and say. This is more obnoxious late at night. With the promotion of adult good times here, and apparent cliques with the timeshare people. They give no cares if people are loud and obnoxious after the pool bar closes late in their rooms. Kids under 6 being kept up by rowdy,swearing,moaning adults is not ideal. You want a fun day around the kids pool? Its hard at this resort. The seats around the kids pool get taken by adults ( with no kids). They mark off the seats early in the morning to have their space for the whole day. Which I find very odd.. Adults huddled around a wading kiddie pool drinking with no kids..The beach. It’s one of the most beautiful beach in the world… But!!! Forget going to the beach unless you are up at 4:30-5:30am. It’s the only way you can reserve a space close to the water for your family to enjoy.. Not to mention they will pull your spot if you leave for more then 40 minutes. Even if you have to bring your kids up for paid (that’s right paid) kids resort activities. One day I set my alarm (on vacation) to wake up early to get my family a spot. Only to have our spot taken and towels and stuff removed (put in the security hut) because my kids wanted to do paid activities back at the pool area during lunch time..Imagine coming back down to the beach after you paid for kids activities at the resort with your family, only to have your stuff removed (by resort beach employees) and someone else sitting in the spot you set your alarm early to get??.. So if you want to do the beach, get your spot and DON’T LEAVE! The positives.. Growns keeper staff always super friendly. Employees in the shops super friendly. Activities employees super friendly with the kids. Front counter help was helpful at check in and out. Super Market was across the street.

This place is all we needed. The 1 bedroom condo was cleaned daily most all kitchen supplies were provided. This is our 3rd year here. Staff is friendly. My only concern is all the taxes and fees charged at the end of our stay. Our condo was recently updated (in 2019?).
