Strawberry cottage B&B has a nice feel about English countryside, in fact, the house is on the list of protected building. The room was clean, simple and has all the basic needs. The garden was beautiful and very nice to walk around. The breakfast was wonderful and well served. It was a short drive to Portsmouth where we spent a day at the famous ship yard and had great time. My only issue was the shower didn't have hot water, but I am not sure it was it broken or I didn't operate right. It is an electronic one which I am not familiar with. The owner happened to be away and the breakfast lady, she was very nice by the way, didn't know how to fix it.

We spent two nights at this B&B in the family room on the ground floor. The room looks directly onto the breakfast room with zero privacy.. a room like this should not be rented. The noise from upstairs, being an old house, is quite annoying and you have to hope that the people upstairs are kind. It was a period of high season so we could not get around it in any other way. Modest place with low prices.
