Sun Inn

The bedroom and bathroom were clean, the bedroom has recently been refurbished. The breakfast was fine, there are a number of choices on the menu. I didn't eat dinner there but the prices are very reasonable, as are the drinks. I paid £81 for b&b on a Saturday night, which was good value. There is quite a bit of traffic noise but you should expect that when you look at the location. It was fine for what I needed.

Went recently for food and drinks with the family been a regular for years and must say food was lovely however was not impressed with barmaids attitude Fair enough can understand that they are busy and probably understaffed however there's no need for rude attitude which ruined the day to be honest. If you go to the bar it's understandable that you would think you'd be served fairly quick but I'd never rush anyone especially if I can see there busy but when you stand there and all you get is "you'll have to give me a minute I'm busy " in a rude tone when all there doing is folding menus up is abit obsurd and this was frequent throughout the day. I've been here many times and always enjoyed it but haven't encountered this particular barmaid before I think a bit of hospitality and customer service training might be in order or if your not a friendly person I think you may be in the wrong profession (blonde barmaid with hair scraped back )

Noisy until late due to live music. Room too hot, fan supplied but to no effect. Shower could not be used as too hot and had to get staff to mend. No breakfast as chef did not arrive. Made a complaint to Greene King and not even a courtesy of a reply.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst doing a job in the area. Staff were very pleasant, beer was decent and a good hearty breakfast in fhe morning. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and was good value for money. Decent location on edge of main street

Another fantastic stay at the Sun inn. Room was lovely and spotless, we all had a brilliant night sleep in the super comfy beds. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Thanks to Nikki, John and all the team.

great stay at the sun inn comfy big beds and great service from Kelsey would recommend everyone to try here and the restaurant too as the food was so nice and came out hot and fast just managed to squeeze in a desert

Shocking service, the barmaid seemed like she couldn’t bother to be there, slammed our drinks down on the table when we mentioned we asked for “no ice.” Food took ages to come, £16 for a stead that was half fat, £9 for lasagne which was pathetic and so was the “large salad” accompanying it! Stupidly we decided to order dessert as well, as if the main wasn’t off putting enough, the strawberries in the Eton Mess were warm as they had been nuked and one of the brownie desserts we ordered wasn’t pinged enough and was still frozen! The manager said she had refunded the steak to the app and managed to refund the cash for the frozen pudding, but even that seemed difficult!! Seriously, wouldn’t bother!! The locals kept looking at me like “the food is always this bad!” Shocking!!

Stayed at The Sun Inn Eastwood excellent hotel friendly staff lovely rooms. I have Stayed before with no problem but on this occasion couldn't sleep as lots of noisy people outside our room(1) until very late. Then at 7.20am we was awakened by a noise that sounded like a washing machine coming through the wall. We found out it was an exstacter fan coming from the kitchen. Couldn't get back to sleep so we got up and left.

Very friendly and a welcoming atmosphere, very big garden and fantastic service from the bar staff kelsey and Sarah they made my night nothing was to much for them ,lovely food I will definitely be going back
