My partner and I have been coming here at least once a month for two years now. Every time, we know we will receive great service in a friendly and cosy atmosphere. They have a good selection of beers (Sir Philip is my recommendation) and amazing starters. Where it falls down, for me personally, is the range of food on offer. The options are not to my taste and the vegetarian options are poor. I always get the burger, but would like more choice. Having said that, we've introduced a number of friends to this pub and they've all enjoyed the food - so it's no complaint to what is on the menu at all. All in all, highly recommend. Yet another great pub in Congleton.

First time visiting the Plough Inn for my birthday celebration tonight. I’ve got to say what a wonderful place it is, such a cosy place with friendly staff. The food was amazing!! We went for an annual Xmas meet up/catch up, a party of 7 on Sunday at 3 pm. There was a wedding in full flow and unfortunately it seemed to detract from the core business. The meal was average at best with below average roast potatoes and undercooked vegetables. My advice would be to go when there is no wedding on.

Called here last week to meet some friends. Despite there being a wedding on, the service and food was spot on. I had the game pie, whilst my wife had the sea food pie. Both absolutely delicious. A nice log fire made the visit even better. Highly recommended

Both my wife & I were balled over by the absolutely outstanding welcome from every member of staff, must mention Ellie & Emma who along with all the team were outstanding. The food was just devine what a great team of chefs The Plough as, thanks for the fantastic evening meal & a very tasty breakfast. We will be back when a date is available at The Plough. A party of 11 of us booked a table at The Plough Inn, Eaton for Sunday lunch. Despite it being very busy and hosting a wedding, the food and service were excellent. The gluten free members of our party were well catered for, the food was hot and tasty, and served efficiently. We would not hesitate to recommend it and will be returning.

What a lovely place to stay. Beautiful building and garden. Plenty of parking. Super rooms with the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Excellent menu with delicious food and a very nice free breakfast. The best staff you could wish for.!Everyone was so friendly and helpful and I have never encountered such a welcome and care before. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly, a real gem.

We dined at the plough Inn and the food was incredible. I am gluten free and unable to eat certain foods like onion and garlic, and they were really attentive and helpful. Would highly recommend them! Thank you for a great visit we will be back!
