Fantastic hotel with a unic host couple, always helpful and a small talk. Placed in the small city Ebensee surrounded by mountains, near to natur and experience. There is a very nice garden, pool area and sauna. Perfect rooms with everything. The restaurant that is placed next to the hotel has fantastic atmosphere and good food and drinks. The locals is eating here 4 days in paradise.

Superb hotel with spacious immaculate rooms. Good size pool and spa and beautiful gardens. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Excellent food in the restaurant with a wide selection of local dishes and wines.

Fabulous place, amazing hosts, beautiful surroundings… one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Breakfast was incredible, the pool was a big hit with the little one. And the homemade cakes and tea/ coffee afternoons were a hit with everybody! We’ll definitely go back!

Wir haben Silvester von 29.12. 2024 bis 02.01.2025 im Hotel Hochsteg Gütl verbracht. Es war insgesamt ein schöner entspannter Aufenthalt in einem kleinen, aber mit liebe und familiär geführtem Hotel. Die Familie Steinkogler kümmert sich persönlich um das Wohl der Gäste. Man fühlt sich rundum wohl, egal ob beim perfekten Frühstück, und am Nachmittag Kaffee & Kuchen das im Erdgeschoß des Hotels gereicht wird oder auch zum Abendessen im Gasthaus Mostschenke wo man schon von der 2. Generation der Famili Steinkogler nach Strich & Faden bei einem tollen Ambiente kulinarisch verwöhnt wird. Ein kleines Manko, das jedoch unserem enspannten Aufenthalt keinen Abruch getan hat der fehlende Ruheraum nach einem Sauna- oder Dampfbadbesuch. Denn dies war nur im Indoor- Schwimmbad möglich. Ein Dankeschön an die Famile Steinkogler und weterhin Alles Gute und eine glückliches, gesundes neues Jahr. Andrea und Dittrich

Wunderbares Landhotel mit Liebe zum Detail, sehr nette Betreiberfamilie, toller, kleiner Wellnessbereich mit Innenpool, hübscher Garten, großzügige Zimmer! Vielfältiges Frühstücksbuffet, gemütliches, rustikales Restaurant angegliedert. Wir kommen wieder!

Leider nur ein kurzer, dafür toller Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und sind hervorragend betreut worden. Zimmer, Bad und Balkon einfach toll. Frühstück (fast) perfekt. Die Kuchen der Hammer! Schwimmbad mit Sauna und den Außenanlagen Top!!! Wenn man was verbessern möchte, dann bleibt nur die Marmelade und der Honig beim Frühstück übrig. Es wäre toll, wenn es selbst gemachte Marmeladen geben würde. Verstehe, warum die kleinen Fertiggläser genommen werden, aber es geht nichts über selbstgemachtes.
