"Location is stellar, right next to the station and next to the tourist info centre. Room for one is spacious. In addition to alcoholic and non alcoholic drink options in the lobby, there’s even ramen and ochazuke service. Ramen is simple but delicious. There’s also a manga corner and massage chairs on level 4 for guests to use. Manga collection is amazing and the books actually feel new or it’s very well taken care of. Breakfast comes with a view at the top floor."

"I stayed here to attend a concert at the Sun Dome. I think the hotel itself is old, but the interior has been renovated, and the walls and ceilings are like those found in new hotels. It was spacious and very comfortable. The front desk staff were kind and friendly, and the restaurant next door (or next door?) was also friendly and relaxing. But if you don't have a car, you can't do anything. It's a 20-minute walk from the Shinkansen station, and at night you have to walk along a pitch-black rice field road that is scary at night, or along a bypass road with no streetlights, and since it was raining, I got stuck in puddles many times. If you have a car (and arrive at the hotel while it's still daylight), I think it's a great hidden gem!"

"I haven't stayed at many ryokans, so I didn't really understand the bath system. I read it again later and it was unisex, so I thought I didn't need it. I was traveling alone by car, so I just wanted to park my car. I arrived a little late on the day, but I was welcomed very warmly. The room was explained to me carefully. They were considerate of me being a woman alone, and treated me very well. I had the image that ryokans were a bit troublesome, and I wanted to just relax by myself. I am grateful for the encounters and moments of warmth that I could only experience traveling alone. The location was also surprisingly good, and I was able to walk to a large park and Starbucks nearby, so I was able to spend a relaxing time. I was able to park my car for a little while after checking out. Thank you very much. I will use it again when I go to Fukui."
