"I stayed in a room on the second floor, and although it was difficult to climb up and down the steep stairs, the room was clean and comfortable. The large public bath on the first floor is open to non-guests, so it is available for private use at other times. The changing room was also very clean and I was able to relax. The food was also very delicious. There was also a kids' corner, which was nice."

"The owner is incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast was sumptuous. We only regretted not having dinner."

"It was very beautiful. It's in the mountains and there's not much shopping around. It's like an inn in a public facility, so the service is not substantial compared to other hotels, but I think it's cheap if it just stops. There was a small but large communal bath, the room was not the latest, but it was old, but the cleaning was clean and very comfortable. I want to stay again because I can exchange phone and front desk."

"The room and TV were large and the cleaning was polite, so I was able to spend my time with peace of mind. I took a bath slowly and the breakfast was very delicious. I went to the night on a live expedition, and the road was pitch black beyond many mountains farther than I expected, so it is recommended for girls to go in the daytime!"

"Staff service attitude is good and good 👍👍👍 The room has a sea view 👍👍👍 You can see the sunset and sunset 👍👍👍 The food is very rich 👍👍👍 Unfortunately, the hot spring is too small 🧐🫣 Good location 👍👍"

"I went to eat crab on a day trip today. It was a course meal. The tagged Echizen crab was delicious. However, the crab for the shabu-shabu for the crab porridge and the other raw crabs didn't taste like crab at all. They were the worst crabs. When I explained when I paid, they said they would check with the kitchen. It's normal for a restaurant to contact you after checking, so I can't believe they didn't contact me and just ignored me. It was 22,000 yen and it was terrible. I'll never go again. Be careful everyone."

"Echizen Ceramic Art Village Cuisine Inn Jukoen There are only five guest rooms on a site of about 6,600 square meters. It is said to be a hidden inn for adults. On the day of our stay, there was a heavy rain warning and the trains were stopped from noon? Perhaps because there were only our family and one other group, the large inn was almost reserved for us. The natural hot spring bath and dining room were also reserved for us, so we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves. As the owner is the head chef of a famous inn in Kobe and Arima, the food was very satisfying, with a wide variety and quantity of traditional Fukui cuisine and dishes using local ingredients. This time, we ordered the course to enjoy a higher level of Echizen [Luxury Large Abalone], where you can choose sashimi, butter-grilled, or kinome-grilled as you like. Since there are three of us in the family, we decided to have them make sashimi, butter-grilled, and kinome-grilled separately and share them! The abalone was soft and very delicious, and it was the best. It was so delicious that next time I would like to come for the winter Echizen crab course. At night, the rain stopped and the heavy rain warning was lifted. I talked to the landlady and heard a rumor that fireflies could be seen near the irrigation channel of a nearby rice field. I immediately took a flashlight and went there, and was amazed to see 4-5 fireflies flying around the rice field about 200 meters away! The next day was Monday, so the Fukui Ceramic Art Museum in front of the inn was closed, but I went to listen to the sound of the wind chimes in front of the entrance to the Echizen Ancient Kiln Museum, Former Mizuno Family Residence, as I had heard that you can hear the sound of 3,000 Echizen ware "Tofurin". Takefu has extremely few buses, making it inconvenient for travel, but the newly built Shinkansen "Echizen Takefu Station" is 3km away, so the tourist association issues discount taxi tickets for travel to tourist sites and designated shops in the city, and you can ride for 500 yen per trip to affiliated places in the city and 1000 yen per trip to tourist sites outside the city. I bought two 1000 yen tickets to the Ceramic Art Hall at the tourist information desk in front of Takefu Station, so I got to the inn for 1000 yen instead of the usual 5500 yen one way. It is run by a married couple, and although they do not offer attentive service, they are very friendly and I had a relaxing time."

"It seems to be run by a married couple, and their hospitality was soothing. The location of the nearby hot spring and the quality of the water were excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were luxurious and very satisfying."

"Despite its impressive-sounding name, this inn is a small, unassuming place, barely more than a guesthouse (no offense!). We stayed in a room in the new building (Matsuseki-an) with a private open-air bath fed by a natural hot spring. The view of the rough sea from the window was quite impressive, truly capturing the essence of the Sea of Japan. Since it wasn't crab season, dinner (served in our room) was a feast of seafood! There was a boat-shaped platter of sashimi, crab, deep-fried Echizen flounder, and more. The menu was perhaps a little too ordinary to call it cuisine, but everything was delicious. The only drawback might be that the portions are a bit too large for elderly people. I think the location facing the Sea of Japan and the cost performance are not bad."
