"I made reservations through trip.com and found a great deal for my stay! As I'm making my reservation through the app I had all my correct information filled out and read the guidelines and policies before submitting my payment method. Clearly ŕeading all the details before payment was made! I get my confirmation email with my reservation information to see my booking date was changed, and the hotel stated a $2 fee arriving to the hotel. I am then told by the man in the office after i arrived that there is a $100 deposit fee. When clearly reading all the guidelines and policies before I ever confirmed my payment. They told me there is absolutely no refunds no exceptions! So due to trip.com and oyo hotel I was unable to get the correct dates fixed for my booking and they kept my entire payment.. all they are out there to do is take your hard earned money!!"

"I thought I'd done my homework by reading reviews, but I had a rude awakening to the power of paid reviewers. This place is an absolute dump. Stains on the bedding and walls. Shower curtains supported by zip ties. No breakfast, even though it was advertised. Absolutely abysmal accommodations. To make matters worse, Best Western customer service just made sure I knew that their properties are independently owned/operated. If you're going to put your name on something, I recommend requiring some minimum standards to be met. This will make me leery of any BW property in the future."

"The room stunk like old cigarettes and dirty smell. Bedspread had cigarette burns. The only lounge chair was really disgusting dirty. I had to throw towels over it so I could sit comfortably. Sink plumbing fell off like it was corroded. Coffee pot didn’t work when I asked for another they brought me a dirty one like if he just pulled from storage. Needless to say I didn’t use it. I won’t be staying there anytime soon."

"I spent the night here on an eastbound roadtrip with family. The check in process caused serious confusion with the front desk staff. It was assumed that I was with a large corporate group that had a block of rooms reserved for that evening. That was not the case and it took quite a while to find my individual reservation (booked directly through Marriott ). I attempted to check in on the Marriott app / use a digital key to bypass the front desk, however the app never updated. Once the confusion was cleared up we went up to the room. The hotel is unfortunately tired and very basic compared to other like brands in the area. The room was clean but showed its age. It was quiet and served its purpose for the night. The breakfast in the morning was equal to that offered at similar branded hotels. Passing back through the area I booked a different hotel with Hilton."

"I’ve stayed here before when I’ve been in town and never had any issues. Booked this hotel through Priceline without issue. Arrived at the hotel to check in and after providing my ID and a credit card the clerk stepped away from the desk with her cell phone. After about 10 minutes of waiting, we were told that they require a $100 cash deposit. The deposit in itself would not have been a problem, but when I asked if I would get a receipt for the deposit I was told no and informed that the cash would go in the drawer and I would get it back at checkout. I think not! I understand the concept of a deposit for incidentals/damage, but why cash? And on top of that, why no receipt or proof that I paid a cash deposit??? This seems VERY shady to me and I will not be staying at this hotel in the future, nor will I recommend it to anyone. "

"Booked this for a friend who needed a place to stay instead of sleeping in her truck. The area isn't the greatest, and there are some sketchy characters around, but she said the room itself was clean and she felt okay once she was inside. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's basic, but it got her through the night. Thanks for helping her out."
