Maison D'Anthouard was an acceptable hotel near Lyons. It has ample free parking. There is no elevator in keeping with the historic nature of the house, so the staff will assist with taking your luggage to the room. The beds are comfortable, with fine linens. The grounds are immaculately kept. The staff is helpful -- When our shower overflowed from a clogged drain, the poor breakfast chef who was all alone, scrambled to find us a key to another room so we could finish the shower. Overall, the hotel was overpriced and overrated, but offered a good location.

Not really a full service hotel
Room sold on the basis of hotel services with on-site restaurant. On arrival, discovered restaurant is closed and staff leave at 10:30pm locking up the bar and communal areas.

We expected to enjoy ourselves but it was not really the case. The portions were small and the main course not at all up to par. Dry and tasteless. I do better at home. The dessert is served generously but that does not make the pill of the little and meh that there was before, for a bill that, as a result, appears very salty when leaving. In addition, the staff, perhaps feeling not heard, spoke loudly behind us and that is not very elegant for a 4 star. Finally, the restaurant's parking lot is not lit - dark night - you have to take out a flashlight to see a little. Not up to par for a 4 star.

Magnifique demeure au style historique. Personnel très jeune,très serviable et aumable. On sent l’emprunte de l’école Bocuse toute proche. Tout est parfait , à l’exception, ……..l’hôtel ne dispose pas d’ascenseur , …….le parking est exigu et peu pratique.
