White's City Cavern Inn

"I thought this was the perfect place to stay to visit the grand canyon if you just want to see it in one day and then be able tie enjoy the old route 66 town and some other western scenery. The weather is so much cooler there than I expected, since the elevation is so high, and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. We also visited cataract lake scenic park for a picnic and saw a prairie dog town on the way. The local grocery store has everything you could need and we tried the mountain coaster too. The guy at the front desk was friendly and helpful when it came to suggestions about what to do around there. The breakfast was nice and the room had everything we needed. I would love to stay again someday."

"Basic, clean room. Very confusing layout; entrance is not at the front of the building, but rather on the back corner and hard to locate with no clear signs or markings. Breakfast was old coffee a piece of shrink-wrapped fruit. Ugh. Floor plan was unnecessarily confusing but staff was nice."

"There is nothing “Plus” or “executive “ about this BW besides the fact that it is a pretty new place. very bad sound proofing: on the top floor you hear the road as well as the neighbors TV and door banging. Minimum effort is put into breakfast: same exact unhealthy food every day, I had better in « basic « BW (and other 3 star hotels). Coffee tastes like instant coffee. Laundry way too expensive and Gym is minimal ."
