The location of the room is good, but the room itself is a bit small and the facilities are somewhat outdated. However, the service was nice. The brunch place right outside was delicious—I'd recommend it.

You can go to Haymarket station by tram, and walk around 14 minutes to access the hotel. However, it is near the uni of Edinburgh and Castle. I enjoy the stay very much.

Front desk reception was efficient and professional. Housekeeping was timely and thorough. The room was tidy and comfortable, with high-quality bedding, a well-maintained separate wet and dry bathroom, and complete amenities. The overall stay experience was excellent.

Room stunk when we first got there had to air it out toilet wasn’t clean properly the room had as much day light as a prison cell. My child has come out with spots all over her back assuming from the cot as she came out with a rash after the first night of sleeping in there. Kettle didn’t work had to go down and get a new one from reception. The photo attached is at 10am with the curtains fully open.

The water was not draining out from bathtub and the issue was not resolved after repeated complain

Decent clean hotel with clean sheets and towel. Room slightly small when the sofa bed was set up, not enough space to put luggage wide open. 15 mins wall from haymarket train station.

Clean and tidy room, walking distance from the downtown attractions.

For the price we paid for the hotel, we expected a little more from an establishment that is essentially rated as a 4-star hotel. The room is relatively simple but we still found some areas of our room to be undusted and the walls scratched up. It's also worth noting that the room isn't even provided with bathrobes or bedroom slippers. The WiFi connection was barely functional as well and me and my partner had to rely mostly on our mobile data for our entire trip. We were given a ground floor room, to which the security door isn't even locked for guests safety. While the staff were lovely and the breakfast buffet was good, the room left us feeling rather disappointed.

Good location, clean but very very basic small room  Didnt appreciate the room would be two levels below ground level. I did expect slightly better given the price. Staff at  reception were pleasant. Overall, it was  ok.

It's an amazing hotel, slightly off the center but still very walkable to the main attractions. Actualky because of that, it's much quieter and crowded. Great breakfast options, basic but clean room. Helpful and warm staff. Great value for money!

Lovely modern decor and nice clean room overlooking nice garden. TV, iron and ironing board Beds comfy but creaky, toilet seat loose and door not locking properly, will report findings to hotel Would recommend and stay again.

It was okay, but the price went up a bit because of the holiday.
