The hotel was alright. Even though it was small and windowless, the location was quite convenient. It was close to Haymarket station, so I just walked there with my luggage. From Haymarket, it's just one train stop to Waverley station, which is very close to Princes Street and the Royal Mile. Overall, it matched the price.

Great location, about a 20-minute walk to the Waverley area. However, the room was tiny with no windows and only two power outlets. Plus, they only cleaned it once every four days.

There's no phone in the room, so you have to email if you need anything. Slippers aren't provided, and there's no complimentary bottled water in the room. You can get hot and cold drinking water from the self-service area on the 1st floor. Breakfast is the no-cook kind. There's a bus stop nearby, making it convenient for dining out and sightseeing. Edinburgh Castle is also within walking distance. The staff, however, are all very friendly.

The room was decent, and the duvet cover and pillowcases were very clean. The hotel's location is excellent, close to all the main attractions. The front desk staff were warm, attentive, and helpful, and they also offer luggage storage.

The hotel is near Haymarket and offers self check-in. The room was small but perfectly adequate. It's conveniently located with easy access to bus stops and dining options. I slept soundly both nights – definitely the best two nights of my trip to the UK!

Very nice hotel, that is conveniently located: close to the castle and city centre. Staff was very friendly and room was good and clean. Breakfast buffet was good as well.

Really comfortable and quiet hotel near Edinburgh Castle. Checkin was smooth, the staff are friendly, and the room was spacious. It’s also easy to reach the airport as the tram stop is around 5 minutes from the hotel on foot. The hotel offers secure luggage storage also! Amenities in the room could be improved! I’d stay here again during my next visit to Edinburgh.

The hotel facilities are very complete. There's a wide variety of fruits for breakfast, and the bread is delicious. The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. It's also a convenient 15-minute walk to the attractions.

I booked a room without window without realising! It was already over priced! I tried to change room but they didnt fulfil my request! So when I entered my room I realised is very small and it lacks basic amenities like fridge wardrobe enough space on both sides of the bed and plus I didnt have anything to put my things near my side of the bed as well... bathroom was also small no window i also had to buy my own conditioner cause hotel couldnt provide it for me... im really dissappinted... I already paid enough money and breakfast was not included in the price! Check in was also late i had to pay extra for early check in which is outrageous! And if I wanted late check out I also had to pay extra money for this... For the money I paid i could easily book a luxury air bnb and I could have my comfort as well! Plus at night there was too much noise outside our room which made us very uncomfortable! Sometimes we were thinking that someone entered our room due to the loud noises outside... I stayed one night and it was one of my worst hotel experiences... im really dissapointed... the only thing I liked was the cleanliness... we were told by one staff member that someone would call us to discuss our experience and offer us some money back if possible but no one called us! I wont book again any room in this hotel! Thats for sure! Very dissapointing experience...

This hotel is ideally located right next to Haymarket Station, making travel super convenient. We were able to walk to all the city's attractions in just over ten minutes. Our room was compact but well-designed, spotless, and dry. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, the shower had consistent water pressure, and the smart lighting was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and check-in was a breeze.
