Good location with all the amenities required. Hassle free check in and check out. Nice breakfast and free coffee for everyone all times. Nice view from the hotel location. Very peaceful and relaxing stay.

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Edinburgh Gateway train station, right next to a huge M&S store at the station exit. It's surrounded by a few office buildings, and a bit further out are the tram tracks and a road, making the area very quiet. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, truly commendable. The room layout is a bit compact, but the price is much better than hotels near Edinburgh Waverley. A train ticket to Waverley is only £4.40, and from there, Edinburgh Castle is right outside.

Location is fair, close to airport and not too far from city. Easy access to tram across the road. Approx 5min walk. Staff are friendly. First room of check in there was bloodstains on the double bed and second room had stains on the top bunk bed. Not a great start after a long night of travelling and just wanting to rest. Abrupt awakening about 12ish due to a fire alarm and panick just to find out after it was a drill. (There was a sign at the reception desk but at 7am after long night of travel your not going to look below the desk to read). Top bunk isn't comfortable. Be mindful what you leave out in the room before cleaners come in. Our photo we got taken in edinburgh old style photo was thrown away and some medication I had wrapped up was thrown out. Hotel is okay for a short stay.

someone's knocking heavily at the door in the morning, while I didn't ask for any wake up call. No one's at the door when I got up and checked. No waterproof seal at the bottom of bathroom door. Despite these 2 points, everything else is good.

Hotel is located not too far away from city center , 30 mins by tram. The receptionists were helpful , however, didn’t have good room service for eg . Didn’t refill the hand washing liquid , didn’t even vacuum the floor which was quite disappointing. Parking fee was 5£ per 24 hours which is fair.

The room is a bit small for three Close to the airport by Uber (recommend for ppl going to airport in the early morning) Not far from tram
