"Positives - the air conditioner worked well and the pool was kept clean. "Casino" is a loose term, 20 old pokies machines in the foyer was the only thing happening there so don't go expecting anything more. No food or drink available at the 'resort', and no fridges in the room is poor. TV in room has 2 channels - one which can't be viewed. Communication around the airport bus transfer wasn't great either."

"Liked; the location was nice and quiet and beautiful view of the lagoon. Unit was nice, clean, spacious. Lovely tropical grounds - but could use some weeding/care! Restaurant on site again very quiet but menu had a bit of everything. Disliked · The pools are all quite small and there is very little room to sit and relax around them. One is immediately infront of reception and the dining room. The sun loungers are all quite old, tatty and broken, the cushions again old and not clean. Its at the bottom of a very steep long driveway which you have to walk up to catch a bus. Its a 15 min walk into town down a very dark road at night. There are a lot of steps too. The kitchen and bathroom are old dark wood and looking very tired and dated now. Breakfast is basic and same everyday. Delivered to room-Toast, cereal, juice, croissant, yoghurt, fruit."

"Total disaster and happy to scam to take money and NOT care about doing it. The new owners have ignored maintenance, and the place is falling apart, mouldy, and disgusting. Mouldy beds & pillows, broken windows, broken shelves, disgusting dust build up on tops of cabinets/room dividers, mesh walls on aircon rooms, dirty aircon vents, ants in restaurant kitchen, deep green pools, empty garden ponds, poolside bar empty room, reception emptied and used for storage, pool deck unsafe, We refused to stay even one night. This isn't a luxury resort. We have used backpackers 'eco' accommodation that's nicer. Staff didn't really care when we complained. They have heard it all too many times before. Still fighting for even a part refund."

"The hotel felt safe and was mostly clean. But it did have a bit of a funky smell about it. The bed was awful. Rock hard, like sleeping on a plank of wood. Ok for a single. night, but that’s it."

"Great holiday place, people were beautiful and friendly. Chef was the best I have ever tasted. Was beautiful sitting at the restaurant looking on to the lagoon and sitting back and relaxing. Will definitely come back again and bring family as well. Pool was excellent to swim in and cool down. Love you people as you are friendly and easy going."

"Extremely disappointed. Terrible management (Hong Kong owed, not locals) If you do make the mistake of staying here, watch your bank account closely! I was charged twice and had to argue to receive it back. Rooms smelt mouldy and are noisy."

"The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the city center and is not very large. It has its own beach and small pier. Guests can use canoes and SUPs for free; masks need to be rented. It's recommended to rent a car. The hotel charges 7000 VAT for a one-way trip to the city center, and 30,000 VAT for a full day's use with a driver. They don't give room keys; they say it's only for staff and guests, so there's nothing to worry about. Even our room door was difficult to close properly, so we just left it open. The food at the hotel wasn't very good. Breakfast was okay, but the penne pasta we ordered for lunch was extremely salty, and the fish burger for dinner had a bread as hard as a baguette. The pizza was okay, and the fries were good. The scenery is beautiful. We stayed for four nights, but lunch and dinner were the most inconvenient."

"The room is more like the primitive era, with a very small swimming pool and close to the sea. The sound of sea breeze and waves is very loud at night, making it difficult to sleep. There were a lot of small black bugs on the bed, and the red bumps on my arms that I had bitten after staying there for one night have not gone away for a week... I asked the hotel to check out early the next day, but the hotel didn't agree, so I had to bear the one-night room fee. I changed to other hotels and the experience was very bad! Not recommended for everyone to live here."

"Cancelled our booking without informing us and when I emailed to check something else with them were unapologetic about it and also lied about how they handled it. We had to get a last minute accommodation due to this which was not ideal."

"We stayed at Tamanu on the Beach for 9 nights and couldn’t have had a better experience. The rooms are beautiful, the views are stunning, the restaurants serves some of the best food on the island and all of the staff are incredibly friendly. Nicholas makes the best cocktails to enjoy on the beach while you watch the sunset. 🌅"

"Absolutely loved our stay at The Havannah! We spent 7 nights in a Waterfront Villa. The food was amazing, snorkelling was fantastic, air and water temp was perfect and Efate was wonderful. Can't wait to come back one day!"

They were so kind, accommodating, and put a lot of effort to ensure each guest was comfortable and enjoying themselves. We stayed for 7 days and this was just the right amount of time for relaxation and exploring."

"We had an absolutely beautiful time at the Eratap Beach Resort The resort is in such an amazing location with snorkelling right off the beach, lots of activities and local culture around, it’s peaceful and secluded but still close enough to town if you want to do things. The resort also provides a free shuttle into town each day which was great and can support with extra transport if needed, they put on activities each day and have a free boat service if you want to explore the surrounding islands. The staff are so welcoming and accomodating, they always made us feel well looked after and made sure we had everything we needed. The spa is also lovely and so relaxing. Our room was comfortable and clean, bed was very comfy and the beach right at our door step. The resort is quiet at night with only the sounds of the ocean. Absolute paradise My only suggestion that would make it perfect: A resident resort cat/dog 😊 Thank you Eratap for such an amazing stay! Andre and Helena"
