Breakas Beach Resort ★★★
"Very nice resort...spacious and well-furnished bungalow, comfortable bed...on the beach...with sunbed and very nice pool...very good on-site restaurant"
Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu ★★★★
"Fantastic, friendly, and attentive staff. The place is a little tired"
Coconut Palms Resort & Diamond Casino ★★★
"Facilities: Extremely outdated Cleanliness: Dirty; cockroaches, mosquitoes, and ants every day. Even after using insecticide for a day, there are still a bunch of dead ants in the room every day 😪 Environment: Average; there is a swimming pool. I didn't use the free airport shuttle service. The hotel's location is okay; it's the cheapest in the area. Hotel management: 👎"
Tamanu on the Beach ★★★★★
"We had our Honeymoon here and the resort was beautiful. The food was definitely a standout, such a range available on both the regular menu and the chef's specials board (which was almost a second full menu). All breakfasts came with a fresh fruit platter, food is from a range of cuisines, and my wife's dietary requirements were easily accommodated. The staff were also amazing - Meena and Laura looked after us very well at the spa and restaurant. The road between the resort and Port Villa is very treacherous and bumpy but the drivers - Danny and Denville - who took us on our outings took very good care of us and were excellent tour guides. For things to do we recommend the horse riding, the weekly fire show and the spa at the resort. Note: the earthquake has obviously had a big impact around the island. Road conditions are quite poor, the downtown areas of Port Villa are closed and within the resort there are some villas that were closed for repairs. While some activities have stopped there is still lots to do both around the report and as excursions."
Warwick le Lagon Resort & Spa, Vanuatu ★★★★
"We love the pool and all the water activities"

Pacific Lagoon Apartments
"Great location, friendly staff, value for money, excellent wi-fi, close to restaurants and local shop. Had everything we needed. Chris and his staf were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We all loved the friendliness of Aaron and Charlie and this added to our stay. Would highly recommend and exactly as the pictures show."
Mariner Apartments
"The apartment is close to town and within walking distance to all major attractions, dining places and important buildings"
South Pacific Memories
"Unique, elegant, and welcoming - South Pacific Memories is filled with flowers, art, and charm - with delicious food, gentle staff, and excellent dive instructors. The rooms are polished, bathroom and bed are up to European standards, and the handpainted murals make the space divine. I can’t say enough about the ambience - huge trees, Turkish lamps, and great conversation. If you find yourself there, you are among good company. There is room to park at the resort, and right outside the gate is village life Vanuatu. You don’t have far to go to see local lifestyles, but keep your eyes open when looking at the water as well - whales, dugongs, and rays are among the frequent visitors to the cove out front."
Tropicana Lagoon Apartments
"I booked for 7nights and decided to check out on 2nd day. Reasons: alot of mosquitoes in the room i mean alot. . Bed is soft. Room is generally old Sound proofing is bad. U can hear what nedt door is talking and get noisy early morning. Will never return"
Le Life Resort
"My son and I stayed at the hotel in cottage #4 by the sea in July 2026. The hotel itself is decent, and the price matches the quality – it's not expensive. We only had breakfast at the hotel (mostly omelets with vegetables and hot chocolate). We didn't opt for lunch or dinner because we had read previously that they were expensive. I pre-booked the airport transfer via email with the hotel; they replied promptly. A one-way transfer cost 12,000 in local currency, which we paid by credit card upon arrival. We also booked the return transfer through the hotel, which cost 120 USD. Honestly, I think the transfer was pricey, but I couldn't find any online taxi services, and the hotel is over 60 km from the airport, so I had to go with this option as there were no others. After leaving the airport, we stopped at a supermarket to buy food to replace hotel lunches and dinners. The cottage has everything: hot water, good bedding, and towels. There's also a gas stovetop, dishes, a kettle, plates, spoons, and forks, so you can cook your own meals. However, there's nowhere to buy groceries near the hotel, so we stocked up at the supermarket upon arrival. There's no safe or slippers in the room. The hotel grounds are large, with plenty of places to walk and a long beachfront. The staff are polite and pleasant, and the hotel grounds are well-maintained. Overall, that aspect was great. What I didn't like: there's no internet in the room, which was a significant issue for me. Internet is only available in the hotel lobby, where the reception and dining area are, which is a real shame. Luckily, our cottage was right by the reception, so that was convenient. Also, be aware that there are very strong low tides on the beach until noon, though this wasn't a major concern for us; we just walked along the ocean, which was wonderful."
Trees and Fishes Private Retreat
"The hotel is about a 40-minute drive from the city center and is not very large. It has its own beach and small pier. Guests can use canoes and SUPs for free; masks need to be rented. It's recommended to rent a car. The hotel charges 7000 VAT for a one-way trip to the city center, and 30,000 VAT for a full day's use with a driver. They don't give room keys; they say it's only for staff and guests, so there's nothing to worry about. Even our room door was difficult to close properly, so we just left it open. The food at the hotel wasn't very good. Breakfast was okay, but the penne pasta we ordered for lunch was extremely salty, and the fish burger for dinner had a bread as hard as a baguette. The pizza was okay, and the fries were good. The scenery is beautiful. We stayed for four nights, but lunch and dinner were the most inconvenient."
Erakor Island Resort & Spa
"This facility is pretty good in an island country! Super nice sea view room, 24-hour hotel ferry, all the staff are very friendly, I will come again next time! This is the photo I took for you"
Lagoon Gardens
"The hosts took great care of their guests, rooms were spotless and breakfast was served by the lagoon."
Mangoes Resort
"The room was a bit old, but otherwise fine; suitable for couples."
Iririki Island Resort & Spa
"The room was clean and tidy and Iririki island has a lot of things to do. Every day they have a What will we do today letter that gives you options on all the events happening on a certain day so you won't lack options and if you don't feel like doing anything you can relax at one of their two pools that are both equipped with bars."
Coco Beach Resort
"Disgusting and a rip off! The locals know about this scam, but there is nothing they can do about the poor visitors who are tricked into thinking this is a nice place to stay."
