Overall, an “ok” stay- Our hotel room had carpeted floors, which felt unclean and there were wrappers under the bed that hadn’t been vacuumed. The bathroom was clean and the room service was good. We traveled with a small child in a travel crib and both mornings upon wakening we noticed she had been bit overnight on her arms and face- even when we slept with the windows closed! We never saw any bugs or flies but this really soured our experience. The pros of this place include the restaurant and the location, there’s no easier place to stay in town and it’s very convenient. The staff was nice and helpful. The view from the room is beautiful. No air conditioning but there’s a nice fan in each room.

The Food was delicious, the ambient in the Restaurant was very warm and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and quick - thank you Paul for your heartwarming service! We had a pleasant stay and will be coming back for sure!

A very fine hotel with friendly and efficient multilingual staff. Located right in the heart of the old city. Very good breakfast. The hotel has a nice restaurant offering a good variety of food. Reasonably priced.

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereite Bedingungen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Essen und Zimmer war gut. Der Standort ist super und direkt in der historischen Altstadt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt wie Zuhause fast . Immer wieder gerne!

Ich freu mich jedes Mal in Burghausen, wenn ich wieder im Hotel Post sein darf. Die Zimmer sind neu renoviert und im top Zustand. Das Holz in der Eingangshalle ist top lasiert und geschliffen. Das Essen? Der Teufelstoast ist immer eine Reise wert! Einfach himmlisch!

Das Restaurant überzeugt mit hervorragender Qualität und exzellentem Service. Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich hervorragend und ansprechend angerichtet. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und einladend, sodass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das stets bemüht ist, den Gästen ein perfektes Erlebnis zu bieten. Die Speisekarte bietet eine vielfältige Auswahl, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut angemessen. Sehr gutes Hotel mitten im Zentrum der Altstadt Burghausen. Freundliches, engagiertes Personal und sehr gute Küche im hauseigenen Restaurant, ganztägig geöffnet. Mittags, wie abends haben wir sehr lecker gegessen - es gibt auch einw große Auswahl an vegetarischen und veganen Gerichten. Das Grillgemüse schmeckt fantastisch. Die Zimmer sind hübsch ausgestattet, teilweise mit Blick auf die Burg oder den Stadtplatz und ziemlich ruhig. Einziges Manko waren die Parkplätze, abends waren leider alle Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage belegt, so dass wir in der Nähe (beim Kindergarten) geparkt haben. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

Wir waren mit dem Motorrad in Burghausen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung. Das Zimmer war schon in die Jahre gekommen und mit einer mobilen Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wir bekamen angeboten, dass wir das Motorrad in der nahen Tiefgarage abstellen könnten. Am nächsten Tag hatte ich einen Strafzettel am Fahrzeug. Es stellte sich heraus, dass die Tiefgarage nur für Autos gedacht war - warum auch immer. An der Rezeption wurde mir versprochen, dass man sich um die Angelegnheit kümmern wolle. 2 Wochen später bekam ich per Post eine Strafverfügung. Nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Hotel wurde mir wieder versprochen, dass man sich darum kümmern werde. Jetzt habe ich wieder eine Zahlungserinnerung erhalten und letztendlich den Strafbetrag selbst eingezahlt ..... nachträglich hat dies unseren Aufenthalt getrübt.
