Super noisy room next to busy road. Don’t expect traffic noise keeping you up at night in Patagonia! Walls were thin. Room was not cleaned with no fresh towels or toilet paper for three days. When we asked the front desk why the room had not been cleaned, we were told it was because we didn’t leave the key with them when we left for the day. Pillows and bed were small and awful. Receptionist was not friendly or helpful. When I asked her if she could call a local business for me, she pointed to my son and said he could do it. Would have checked out earlier if we had booked ourselves but as our travel agent, Say Hueque booked it, we were stuck.

It was a nice place to stay as it was clean and the staff was friendly (one women even spoke great English) The room was maybe a bit run down but clean and the bed was comfy and the shower hot I slept well as the hotel was mostly quiet except for a party that was celebrated once of which I could hear the music in my room Breakfast was nice but could have a bit more selection In a few minutes (maybe 10) you can walk into town and enjoy all the shops and restaurants there

Upon our arrival, we were greeted very warmly. The room was lovely and seemed newly renovated. Every request of the staff was taken care of with a smile. And just a short walk from Main Street. Great water pressure. Breakfast was nice and more than we anticipated. The box lunches for our boat trip were really good.

Basic and old
This hotel is old and basic. Some areas are in poor shape, there was water damage, it has poor insulation and it got very hot, there was no AC or even enough fans for individual rooms. Employees cannot do much for their guests because the multiple problems have been reported many times and repairs are not made.

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a hiking tour of Patagonia. It’s just in the edge of town but easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. They gave us the key to someone elses room on checking in (but worrying that we managed to open their door) but wee soon in our own room upstairs. The room was small with twin beds and a small bathroom. It was fine for a short stay. Breakfast was OK with ham, cheese, eggs, etc and they also were able to provide us with a packed lunch for our day at the Perito Moreno glacier.

Comfortable stay. Hotel is within walking distance of El Calafate. Breakfast while mainly continental did have eggs and variety with fruit. Staff were courteous and friendly. Wifi worked and generally was good.
