AVOID AT ALL COSTS - UNSANITARY & DISGUSTING PROPERTY We booked 5 nights at this property and upon arrival discovered that the entire house (couches, beds, kitchen) was filthy and infested with mice and mice feces. In addition, the temperature was set at 59* even though it was freezing outside and wouldn't allow for adjustment. The sheets were stained and threadbare, the downstairs shared shower didn't work, the toilet seat was ripped, and the overall cleanliness was outrageously unacceptable (and I'm being kind). I immediately attempted to contact the host and she didn't answer for over 10 hours. After our first night (we had nowhere else to go at 10 pm with young children when we checked in), we immediately left. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this property at all costs. It is a health hazard and they should not be allowed on VRBO.

Carbondale Hiking Trip The location was perfect for our hiking trip. We had ongoing issues with the oven. That was very inconvenient since we prepared all of our dinners but one at the house. I wouldn’t stay here unless the owner replaces the oven. We had problems with the upstairs shower and the dishwasher they were both repaired after I notified the property manager. The shades in the master bedroom wouldn’t go up. For the amount of money we paid, I wouldn’t expect all of the issues that we had. The property manager responded quickly to our concerns.

Nice house with some minor issues The property is very nice. The house and yard are comfortable and clean. We had some minor issues with the master bedroom ceiling fan not working and some of the blinds on the windows were inoperable. The property is very spacious. We had a total of 9 people and there was plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again. I would recommend a couple of fans for the bedrooms in the summer because it can get a little warm. Overall an excellent property and a good value.

Excellent house for large groups, but We were a group of six friends getting together for a reunion. The bedrooms were well appointed and the beds were great. The kitchen had everything you would need and then some, but not organized. Example; silverware, plates, containers found in 3 different areas. Constantly opening up drawers to find things. The shower handle in the upstairs bathroom fell off the first day and was never fixed while we were there. We did tell the property manager. . We jury rigged it. We wish they had a better system for hot water. You had to run the water for over 15-20 mins. to get hot water. We asked and said, yup that’s what it takes. So wasteful. Same with the oven. It takes over a 1/2 hr to get the temp up and only on convection again told yes, that’s what it takes. So, the house was wonderful, grounds fantastic and if they would attend to some of those issues, I would highly recommend it.
