Good hotel, close to the slopes. Very family friendly with a bar that had lots of board games and pool/pinball. Ski locker accessible via a internal lift We were a group of 12 adults and the hotel was perfect for what we needed - sleep, quiet beers, restaurant!. Breakfast and dinner buffet offered the normal range of options, and staff were accommodating and polite. Spa/sauna etc need booking and are extra but otherwise exactly as expected.

The property is ideally located near the chairlifts, they have their own ski/boot room with keys for lockers free from reception. Bar area is nice, restaurant was very good for breakfast. Overall 9/10 (it is pretty warm in the hotel rooms!)

This s a great hotel. Really close to the slopes, food was good, plenty of choice. Martin the chef was lovely and very accommodating. We asked for gluten free croissants and it was no trouble at all. The receptionists were really friendly & helpful. The spa facilities aren’t the biggest but as you have to book it never got too busy and was great after a day skiing. We had room 809 which had a good view and was a good size. The rooms were cleaned every day. We will definitely be back!

The plus points are location and cleanliness. The negatives are as below. Bar area was always low temperature compared to rest of hotel. Sitting in restaurant sweating in a tee shirt to then needing a thick jumper in the bar. Bar was very noisy due to lots of young children on pool table and fusbal. Tired decor. Big cracked marble floor in lift. 95% of food was not piping hot just above warm. The exception being the soup which was piping hot. Terrible choice if you were vegetarian...either pasta or salad. On the flip side they did not object when they were asked to microwave stone cold cooked tomatoes and just warm scrambled eggs. Overall its only the location that saved this from a 1* review. Also Crystal rep was never available and when you arrive you are told to walk up to the hotel and just leave luggage on the pavement for the bust to load up when they arrive...leaving the opening for anyone to just walk off with your skis or snowboard.

Excellent location and delicious food… The location of the hotel is excellent with a very convenient ski equipments lock room, just a few mins walking from the ski lifts. We took the half board, finally it ended up a very good decision, the breakfast and buffet dinner were very tasty and delicious with a lot of choices and everyday the menu were different. The only downside was the room was a bit small without any view, and in the bathroom there was no ventilator, the room could get quite humid after a shower. There was no parking lot at the hotel.

This isn’t a 4 star hotel. Beds were like, put up beds, damp and crumbling plaster around the windows, restaurant was like a canteen. Never had to pay to use the sauna, when staying at a hotel

The hotel itself is great. Very clean, comfortable rooms and the staff were fabulous. My only complaint is that it was excessively hot. I would have left the window open at night but the noise from people singing outside the nearby Irish bars until the early hours meant this wasn't an option. So, due to the heat and external noise, sleep wasn't great at this hotel.
