Centre Esplai Albergue

I'd recommend this place for solo travelers or anyone needing a stopover near the airport. For Chinese guests, it feels more like a hostel than a traditional hotel. The price is really good, and the rooms are clean and minimalist.

I strongly advise against staying here. This hotel is a converted training center, and the facilities are extremely basic, resembling a prison or correctional facility. The windows and doors are old and run-down, and there are no sheets or duvet covers – let alone fresh ones for each guest. You'll be accompanied by a huge number of mosquitoes and other insects throughout the night, and their bites on the bedsheets will leave your skin itchy. The constant croaking of frogs will also keep you awake all night.

I wouldn't recommend staying here. There are no power outlets by the bed, and the duvet had no cover. The accommodation felt like a prison. It seems more like a training facility. It was very noisy at night, so we ended up paying for another hotel in the city that same night. I also wouldn't recommend it for early morning transfers, as the L9 metro runs conveniently, and the airport isn't busy in the early morning, so there's no rush.
