Best Hotels in Elanora, Australia

Checking In was quick, lovely service at the front desk. Arriving in the room & was quite well presented, very comfortable beds. The room was serviced & cleaned daily, new towels & new sheets & ALL DAILY - was a big tick for my partner & I. Only small issue was I have OCD, so when the room was cleaned daily, I had noticed a fair few stray black hairs on the bedding & floors, cleaning myself up with the towels were a few black hairs on myself asking cleaning myself dry with the towels. But other than that, the stay was lovely!

After booking a room for 1 night initially, we made a booking for an additional night both via Expedia. The recent reviews on here had me worried as they were much more positive when I made and paid for the booking. Parking - currently free but the hotel provide no detailed instructions on booking etc so I can see why people get frustrated. Thankfully a review on here gave us some tips to make our arrival smooth. I would recommend parking in tower 1 on levels 3, 3M or 4. These floors provide direct lift access to the hotel. Look for gold lifts - these indicate your attached to the hotel. Check in - the girl checking us on (Sara I think) was nice but the hotels booking system didn’t link that there were 2 separate bookings for the same person. The hotel didn’t offer us the lower standard room for the 2 nights so that we didn’t have to move. We opted to pay an additional $60 to stay in the better room for the 2 nights. Pool - is as nice as the photos although some of the cabana cushions are filthy. It is mildly heated and there were no towels, only the ones provided in your room. After house keeping we had 2 taken and only 1 replaced which made it hard to use the pool again. Food - we used Uber eats one night and ate at Harvest Buffet in the ****** on the other. The Harvest Buffet was good. We didn’t eat breakfasts at the hotel. Room - the lounge needs to go, there is no room for it and an additional luggage rack would be more practical as storage is lacking. The room would benefit from a spare pillow and blanket like nearly every other hotel we have stayed in. There are no robes or slippers provided. Gym - the gym was ok however the cable machine was broken, there were no kettlebells or spin bike. Access is via the ****** and in to another lift. Check out - we didn’t bother returning to reception, at 8am we were woken by a drill in the adjoining room/wall to us. Very unpleasant when you have an 11am check out. If we were told about the short maintenance work we wouldn’t have minded but we expect more of a hotel that is part of the Star. Would we stay again? No, it’s not the level we have come to expect as guests of the Star in Sydney.

Very good location opposite the beach. If going on a day when there is a market, the market will be opposite the hotel. The room that was on the 10th floor saw a very clear view of 90 degrees. The overall picture was better than expected. Quite impressive, the room is spacious, the equipment in the room is quite complete, there is a dryer, iron, hanger, kettle, refrigerator, microwave, TV, heater, bar of soap (2 bars), shampoo (1 bottle), items that are not provided, conditioner, towel, drinking water and tissues. in the room There is no cleaning service or changing clothes (have to pay extra). We went to stay for 3 days, the last day we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. Walking from the tram may be a bit far, but in exchange for the beach front location, it's okay. There are shopping malls and restaurants nearby. When we went, we got it at a relatively cheap price compared to nearby hotels. Recommended 👍🏻

As an ex local, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Clean, modern, easy check in and good buffet breakfast. Comfortable bed and pillows. I’d definitely recommend and stay again. Been to the bistro many times but not recently, the food was good. Easy app ordering.

Excellent hotel! The standard room is not very large, but everything is there. The bed is comfortable, the bed linen is perfectly clean. Nice bathroom. The cleanliness is perfect! The breakfast is good - you definitely won't go hungry :) There is a tram stop nearby. Beach - 5 minutes walk.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very warm welcome and beautiful views. Both my husband and I wish to thank the team and especially Lora from the star for an overall fantastic experience. Nothing was ever to hard for Lora and she always had an answer for everything with a big smile. A bing thank you to Lora for making our stay so memorable and positive experience.

Nice modern hotel, has a Japanese feel to it. Room was small but very clean, modern and quiet. Close to the tram stop.

I was one of the attendees for FurDU 2023 at the Crowne Plaza Gold Coast (11 - 15 May 2023), and I was very pleasantly surprised about my time at the hotel itself. Once I got to the hotel, I went to reception, took a little while to check in, the staff were very friendly and quite helpful. They explained to me some of the key features of the hotel itself, also the fact that I was one of their club members or something, and that I had free internet throughout my stay - which was a bonus - hardly ever used it though. As I walked back to the lift I checked my room number - which had a bit of significance with myself (give you a clue: the angelic number). To get to your floor, just simply tap the card on the scanner, then press the floor, only took a matter of seconds before I reached mine, and not long before I had finally let myself into my room. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, as I placed my bags down I took a quick tour of the room to see what amenities I had. The bathroom was quite spacious, a rather large shower and plenty of towels etc (which came in handy). As I'd spent a long trip getting up to the hotel I was a bit on the sweaty side, so I got a quick change of clothes, had a quick shower (make sure the door clicks all the way in - otherwise you'll end up flooding the bathroom floor which is what I ALMOST did). (There's so much positive stuff to write about the hotel - so I'll keep it short) The bed itself, quite spacious, the pillows themselves were plenty enough, I found that I got a good night's sleep, and in the morning went down had some breakfast - a great selection to choose from, be it from hot food, to pastries, cereal and even fruit and yoghurt. Relish (the restaurant) takes care of breakfast in the morning, plenty of space to sit, have as much as you want to eat for breakfast and get out again. Dinners were absolutely amazing, same spot, the staff were quite friendly, very quick to take my order (had the chicken parmi one night, the burger the next), and a beer or two to drink. The next night I went to the restaurant - I pretty much got the same spot where I sat last time, the wait staff even remembered what kind of beer I had from the night before ... now THAT'S impressive, also one aspect about service that I really enjoyed. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with the Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, so much so I honestly cannot wait to return next year to experience it all over again .. In all honesty there's nothing at all I can fault the hotel for .. a full 5 * review from all aspects of the hotel, the staff, the food and beverage and everything they've got to offer. So, if you're looking for a place to stay, be it for a short trip away, or a longer vacation, depends on what you're doing, be it visiting the theme parks or the local attractions, I would, without hesitation, highly recommend your stay at the Crowne Plaza Surfer's Paradise, try and get a room with a high floor facing the beach as the views

You get what you pay for and these days customer service is cheap. Staff don't know parking rules, no staff communications, payment was full cost that you apparently had to call another number just to get a $4. Discount. This was after informing them that Iam at the discounted price 4 times. Not worth my 2 cents. Or is it $4 now?

The room and views were amazing. Property very clean, spacious and overall lovely property. The only problem was a howling wind that rattled the sliding door that kept us awake all night. We put a pillow up against the glass door, we opened the glass door slightly, but nothing stopped the noise. We advised on check out and we were told ”sorry” that's it. No offer of a $50 discount- nothing. $1000 for 2 nights accommodation with one night without sleep....
