4 months after our last tour early February we were now to Pinksten back in the chanzenhouse. The greeting at the arrival in the morning was more than friendly. Check Inn has already been performed, although the rooms are ready for reference only from 15.00 clock. In the evening we have obtained our beautiful and clean room with view of the castle. Some positive changes have been made. Congratulations! Breakfast was very tasty and rich again every day. Permanent checks by the staff and the cook whether all the food was sufficiently stored. Every day during the holidays, another buffet was offered. We had registered for dinner on Saturday and Sunday evening. All was abundant and everything was very delicious prepared. Also the after-food was very delicious. Thank you very much to the chef and his team. Overall we say it was a nice ping-pong weekend. Unfortunately too short. Thank you all. Excellent location to visit old town Wernigerode. We loved our stay here. Our hotel room was a bit dated but very clean. The bathroom was adorable with pink tile. Our room had a view of the castle. The staff was super friendly (spoke English) and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, served in a charming dining room. Parking is plentiful on site and free. Hotel has an elevator. We spent 2-nights here and everything was wonderful.

The hotel is very quietly located, though somewhat far from the marketplace. Rooms 17 have been very good for us, the beds are comfortable with high quality headsets. Taking breakfast in the blue or red salon was pleasant , the food selection is good, with quality tea of Ronnefeld and candy sugar. It is something for everyone. The hotel has sufficient parking directly at the house. If we come back to Wernerode, we will certainly choose the heritage palace Carlo & Andrée Bernard

The small hotel has surprised us pleasantly. We had the smallest room (tornfalke). Very clean! There was a water cooker available, tea and two bottles of water were ready. Breakfast was very opulent. The staff is very friendly and welcome. The only small swelling was a bed that was quite noisy. We would always like to book here, because the price-performance ratio has certainly fit.
