This charming old farmhouse has been newly updated and sits on a working farm with idyllic views of a pond, fields, and farm life right outside it's large windows! Situated in the peaceful countryside, the property is less than 10 minutes to the nearest town with grocery store, restaurants, shops, live theatre and sites. It’s 15 minutes from various popular walking and biking trails. It is 45 minutes drive from Notre Dame and 1 hr. 10 min. drive to various beaches along the shore of Lake Michigan. **This is a working farm with cows, chickens, and our famous friendly farm dog, Dixie who views herself as the concierge of the farmhouse. The house itself is situated beside a main farmhouse which is occupied by the farmer and his wife. There will be farm activity going on outside the main house, but the little farmhouse is completely separate and has its own drive and parking. *Because of the steep stairway, woodstove, and pond, the house may not be conducive to toddlers or very young children not able to navigate these things.
