Hotel Elkhart, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

Great place to stay! Our room was really clean, the bed was super comfortable plus the bathroom is so spacious with an awesome shower. Will definitely stay again and we loved the cafe on the first floor called ”Relish” where we had breakfast before we left.
Courtyard Elkhart

We had spent 4 nights here during August 2023. There were several hotels in the area, so we had to look for parking. We actually got to the hotel early, by 1 night, and they were able to accommodate us. The front desk service was very helpful and upgraded us based on status. The only problem we had, was that we were supposed to have housekeeping services on Saturday and no one came. When I reported it to the front desk, by late afternoon, they still hadn't come. Since we were checking out on Sunday morning, I just got what I needed and took it back to the room. Overall, the place was clean, price was right, we were satisfied with our room, and we would return.

So glad I stayed at this hotel instead of the Ghetto Hampton Inn right behind it. If you're a professional that's looking for rest and relaxation without the ghettoness, this hotel is it! Staff was great and attentive.
Staybridge Suites Elkhart North

The hotel has the most stable quality of residence in recent years. The breakfast was good, and the Salad bar for dinner was the same as always. The facilities are a bit old, but neat and tidy. There is a kind of double-suite suite that is rare in other hotels, suitable for multi-person business trips and cost-effective.
Four Points by Sheraton Elkhart

Let's start by saying I had high hopes for this place because it's a Sheraton. Here's the deal. 1. The bed was very comfortable, the A/C was powerful and the room was mostly pleasant and quiet. 2. The pillows were nearly flat, with zero support. 3. The shower curtain looked like my son's while he was at college with roommates... yellow/orange staining at the bottom. Unacceptable for a nice hotel. 4. The breakfast was not included and expensive. I tried the avocado toast, which was about the worst I've ever had. The avocado wasn't fresh and didn't taste like avocado. Some kind of preservative was used and it had a weird texture. 5. I went to the gym for a workout and about 8 minutes in, my lungs started closing up. That's when I noticed a strong mildew smell. I'm allergic to it, so that wasn't good. The lobby also had a strong smell of mildew. Not sure if there was water damage or it's the HVAC system, but it got stronger every time I went to the lobby. 6. A minor thing, but the way they've arranged the lobby furniture, there's no clear bath to the front desk or the elevators. You have to dodge around the furniture. 7. It's hard to find. You have to drive through another hotel parking lot to get to it. With all the other options in the area, I moved and wouldn't stay here again. They said it opened in 2018, but I had the feeling that it was another hotel that was purchased and whitewashed.
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Elkhart North, IN

This hotel is situated among a whole slew of other hotels and for it price point is an excellent value. While the decor is dated (think 80's country) the rooms are clea and the beds are comfortable. The rooms have the usual amenities , mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. Daily housekeeping was provided which is rare in this day and age. Complimentary breakfast was also provided and had the usual fare, sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal, etc. There were a few small issues, there were no plugs for the sink or bathtub and the exhaust fan did not work resulting in a very steamy bathroom. The remote for the TV would not turn the TV on or off but you could still change the channels and adjust the volume. Another complaint, and this is for most hotels in general not just this one, is that there is no list of channels available for the TV. Wether it is Comcast, Infinity, Direct TV, etc, you have to scroll through the on screen guide only to find the channel you've chosen is not available to watch. One sad thing I noted was that the TV was bolted down to the dresser it was sitting on. Don't know if this is a commentary of the state of things where you can't trust your clientelle to not steal things in the room. Overall this is a nicely maintained budget hotel and I would certainly consider staying here again.
