Ella Nature Life Guest and Restaurant

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at Ella Nature Life Guesthouse. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and always happy to help with anything I needed. A special highlight was the cooking class guided by Chef Salindu. It was a fantastic experience—fun, interactive, and a great way to learn how to prepare delicious traditional Sri Lankan dishes. Chef Salindu was patient, knowledgeable, and made the class enjoyable from start to finish. Salindu and the staff in charge even drove me around by tuktuk to my destinations. Absolutely Amazing! I highly recommend Ella Nature Life Guesthouse to anyone visiting Ella. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

First of all, the staff were very friendly and welcoming , however the manager of the property itself was not.. the rooms are falsely advertised, as the one i booked was supposed to be AC provided but when checked in it was a small partition instead of a room which was fitted with a bed next to a bathroom. Despite clarifying the condition with the manager, he refused to acknowledge and fix at all. Hence i was charged extra money for a (humidifier) not cooler in the room which made condition worse. Location wise also terrible as it is way up ella and not accessible easily nor any sort of transport is booked from there for normal price, hence you have to pay 3 times of normal , especially during night. Breakfast which was prepared by the friendly staff was great and enjoyable. Overall , i did not have a pleasant experience. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to hike an hour to get to it.

The owner and manager talk a lot!! Place is up hill and you wake up surrounded by nature. Tea, coffee and breakfast are really good. Paid extra at hotel and they they would adjust the price on trip.they could add an actual small blanket on the bed , I was cold throughout the night cos it was only bedsheets.

The place is a long ride up the mountain on a narrow winding road… (and unfortunately the local PickMe App has no use in Ella!) The food service was good but a bit pricey for the area of Sri Lanka. The “Single Room“ was as rather small and had an all glass “front door” and there was no fan or air conditioning… so with the open ventilation ducts most conversations from anywhere in the building could be heard inside of the room… Overall it was pleasant but not as nice as I had imagined from the listing…

It was a great stay, people are supposed friendly, location is far from centre but if you like nature and peace, you would love it. What you need? They will provide immediately, ironing, mony change, taxi, food, any servis … Highly recommended

I had a wonderfull stay with a very friendly stuff. Salindu is a Artist in cooking i enjoyed is food daily. Adit the Man who is always there for me anytime . I can highly Recommend this Guest house in the green nature. Thank you so much for your care. I will come back with my next Sri Lankan journey. Greetings Sita
