The hotel is really nice, we had our own little house/room. The room is clean, big and give you a nice view into the mountains. The breakfast was nice, too and you can even ask to have it in your room but the breakfast area has a fantastic view, too. Everybody is really nice, very helpful and any request will be taken care of immediately. We enjoyed our stay there. As the hotel is in the hills it's a bit far to reach Ella city center by foot. We rent a bike and they delivered to the hotel with a really fair price and you can travel around on your own.

I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The only downside was the way to the hotel. Since it is located on top of a mountain, the journey up can be a bit difficult as the roads are still under construction. However, once I arrived, it was completely worth it. The breathtaking views and the beautiful room more than made up for the journey. Overall, I had a wonderful solo stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning scenery.

Dowa Elegance Resort is a peaceful retreat surrounded by beautiful nature. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect for relaxation. A great place to enjoy the beauty of Sri Lanka with warm hospitality.

This hotel was one of the best on our trip. The room was beautiful, with a balcony view of the mountains and the temple! Breakfast was delicious; we asked to have it served on the balcony.

The hotel is located on a hillside, offering stunning mountain views. The bathroom in the room was incredibly large. It was the only room in Sri Lanka that wasn't damp during my 20-plus days there. Air conditioning would have been perfect. It's over a 20-minute drive from Ella Town. Ella is mostly hilly, and the winding roads leading to the hotels and B&Bs make it a perfect place for those looking to escape the world for a few days. A special shout-out to the hotel's service team, a group of friendly, down-to-earth local guys. They genuinely want to treat everyone well. Thank you for the delicious breakfast.
