The Meems' Elliston B&B

I was traveling with a group where we were booked in the Meems B & B for 1 night. On arrival we dropped our bags and were out the door to watch the Puffins and other seabirds on the rocks which is what Elliston is noted for, When the group got back it was late and so we barely met our hosts Malia and Abdul until the morning. Most of the group were out early in the morning but I stayed behind to relax and enjoy the coziness and comfort of their B & B and I had a chance to talk with Abdul and Malia while they set out a lovely and delicious breakfast on a table with enough chairs for the group. Malia is a wonderful cook, the food was delicious and filling. The room I shared with a friend was small but very comfortable and had plenty of blankets , even though we were there in July it gets quite cool at night. Malia and Abdul are such delightful hosts and it was fun hearing how they settled in Elliston after living in India and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and stay there again.

The rooms are a delight and comfortable. It is really the best option if you have come to view the puffins! The breakfasts were amazing! Especially the scones and muffins! Check out Mifflins or the Puffin Cafe for lunch and supper.

Maila und Rashid have made our two-night stay very memorable - they are excellent hosts. Their B&B is a comfortable, tasteful and cozy place. The breakfast is mouthwatering and provides plenty of delicious homemade cooking with a hint of Indian spices. Yummmmm. Heaven also for vegetarians ! Maila was so nice to share some of her recipes for jams made from flowers which I will try myself at earliest convenience. We had a great time with other guests at breakfast, sharing experiences from our travels.
