Elounda Gulf Villas by Sandglass
"We just finished a week stay with my pregnant wife and 2.5 year old daughter. As with any holiday with a toddler there are inevitably ups and downs and the EGV team couldn’t have been more considerate, helpful and caring. The chef made delicious off menu pasta and omelettes for our daughter and Athina was incredibly sweet and sensitive at the kids club, doing painting and Easter crafts. George made superb cocktails and mocktails for us and some fresh strawberries for our daughter and Constantinos and the restaurant team couldn’t have been more supportive. Maria and the front desk team were lovely and had lots of very helpful advice and we didn’t have any of the additional charges that other guests have spoken of with the previous management. The lovely warm pool with our room was at no extra charge and the views from it were spectacular. I’d also recommend the beautiful trail walk around the opposite peninsula - Spinalogkas. It’s totally unspoiled and has such a magical feel to it. We had a great trip and would come back again."
Elounda Alikes Suites & Studios
"Thank you. My friend and I had a wonderful holiday at the Alikes. Lovely friendly beautiful people, who went above the beyond to make our stay perfect. Our rooms were excellent, with lovely views from our balcony. Thank you to Angel and Nikos, for the happy times spent in the bar, when we returned from our evening meal. Vivienne an Ann"
Elounda Infinity Exclusive Resort & Spa - Adults Only
"Extremely hospitable and helpful staff. The hotel equipment is completely new. The main restaurant has a very beautiful terrace overlooking the sea that offers a rich buffet, very good breakfast and dinner. Very beautiful view of the sea and the island of Spinalonga. Modern decoration, lots of storage space, very comfortable bedding. I highly recommend it !!!"
Elounda Heights (Adults Only)
"What a truly wonderful experience! I write this review while appreciating the most beautiful view from the pool. Elounda Heights is by far the most friendly welcoming hotel we’ve ever stayed in. It’s run by a lovely family with fabulous staff who go out of their way to make your holiday special and memorable. Amazing home made jams and treats kick off a delicious freshly prepared breakfast served to table. Thank you Cleo for the delicious rice pudding we’ll be back for more of that for sure! Lunch at the pool bar great too especially the Greek Club. Sun beds plentiful surrounding a peaceful and relaxing pool area. We’re staying in a Studio which is large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It’s a truly special place impeccably run with home from home touches. Beautiful grounds beautiful views and one we will return to, hopefully very soon. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday."
Elounda Garden Suites Heated Pool
"Excellent small hotel in central Elounda. Very close to beach, harbour and numerous shops & restaurants. Stayed in spacious studio with 2 balconies both overlooking the pool. Very impressed breakfast (hot & cold) that is served until 11am. Every member of staff we met during our stay were extremely friendly and happy to give advice on where to eat or visit. Super little hotel with very well equipped spacious rooms. Did not give max stars as pool edges had delaminated in places. We were told that the hotel were in discussion with the contractors to get issue fixed over closed season"
Elounda Orama
"From the moment we arrived , we were greeted by the lovely Kostas . A warm , friendly welcome. He took us to our room that had a lovely spacious balcony with a view of Elounda bay . This hotel has wonderful staff including the amazing, very hardworking Sophia who seems to be everywhere . The Standard rooms are clean , however they are needing an upgrade . The Superior rooms have been done and are beautiful . Nothing can beat the location of this hotel, across the road , down the steps and on to the most beautiful bay ."

"Lovely hotel, great facilities, lovely staff, but when it gets busy quality of service falls off a cliff. Evening food is always lukewarm, breakfast this morning got no tea or coffee, they ran out of sunbeds one day!!! So chose a quiet time it’ll be great. When busy avoid!!!"
Elounda Sunrise Apartments
"We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were very clean, with a pleasant and spacious terrace. You are warmly welcomed by the two brothers, and the father keeps an eye on everything, as well as the staff, who are all very friendly. The food is delicious with a wide variety, and the location is excellent — everything is close by."
INNSiDE by Meliá Crete Elounda
"Fantastic 5* hotel resort, beautiful sea views, calm area. Large well designed super clean modern rooms/lofts with free daily refilled minibar. Intimate luxury boutique feel with warm earthy tones. Gorgeous pool with very comfy loungers. A lovely outdoor gym. Delicious breakfast and dinner with plenty of local Cretan products e.g. cheeses, olives, honey, olive oils. Room service was always super efficient. Warm and professional service from everyone, a special thanks to Lucas the General Manager and Christos the F&B Manager and the friendly and helpful events/concierge young lady. An outstanding value."

"This hotel was absolutely beautiful, and from the very first day we felt like we had found a truly special place. The food was delicious — every meal felt like dining in a top restaurant, with an amazing variety and incredible quality. What impressed us the most, though, was the staff. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and genuinely caring. And although we definitely were not the easiest guests, the team went above and beyond to make us happy and ensure everything was perfect for us. This trip was incredibly important for our family because we were celebrating our mother’s 50th birthday, and we wanted everything to be absolutely flawless. Thanks to this hotel, it truly was. The atmosphere, the views, the food, and the exceptional service created memories we will cherish forever. I have already recommended this hotel to my friend for her honeymoon, and I would recommend it again without a second thought. This place is truly something special."
Elounda Mare Relais & Châteaux Hotel
"This is one of the very first 5-star hotels built in the area, and the clear foresight of its creator must be acknowledged. It is beautifully blended into nature, and its buildings are spread over a huge surface in such a way that – unlike other facilities – they are by no means disturbing. The location, while not offering the very best view of Mirabello Bay and Spinalonga Island – which lies further north – is still breathtaking and its most fascinating feature in my opinion is the secluded, elegant, cozy, reserved, and quiet atmosphere. Letting my gaze rest on the horizon of dramatic dawns or gentle sunsets, or following birds’ flights in the blue from the balcony of my room, has been highly regenerating for me. Interiors are luxurious without being showy. Everything I saw was kept immaculately, with gloss-varnished wooden surfaces and perfectly cleaned floors and furnishings. A small, spotless and serene church that allows moments of reflection The staff is highly professional, attentive, and empathetic, yet formal and respectful. Breakfast was gorgeous, with every kind of excellent food and, though I do not usually indulge in sweets, I could not refrain from noticing eleven different types of cakes (a few of which I guiltily, but more than satisfactorily, tried). The beach is quite small and the shade of the umbrellas may be insufficient at times, but there is an area under the olive trees that I particularly loved. A few spots on the cliffs are simply spectacular. The sea is crystal clear and very salty, so floating requires minimal effort and makes swimming even more relaxing. Though perfection is not human, and in any case subjective, there were minor features potentially upgradable that I may constructively report. Noise from a water scooter occasionally present (along with those from the neighboring Porto Elounda Hotel) and the lawnmower was sometimes a pain in the neck. At least silent lawnmowers might be an easily accessible option. Housekeepers should refrain from chatting while on duty, or anyway avoid speaking loudly. Rope railings and/or handrails may be advisable along a few pathways flanking the cliffs or the sea, which may even become slippery. The glass on the double swinging doors is very useful, but I am not sure it looks shatterproof. Finally, though guests were overall very polite, they appeared underdressed compared to past standards, and a few behaved frankly inappropriately, so that a behavioral and dress code might perhaps be gently reintroduced."
Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort, Six Senses Spa
"beautiful, quiet location just outside the fishing village of Elounda with a private beach, fantastic attentive staff that cater to your every need. Our room was so beautifully furnished with amazing finishes and the most wonderful view of the sea and their gorgeous resident ship swaying in the wind. Our own private pool was a bonus for me and the water sports were a hit with my husband and son. The food at the pool/beach were not my favorite but we eat at the Yacht restaurant and the Italian restaurant and they were excellent. A special mention for the lovely host Evdokia (Evi) and to Giorgos at the front desk, so kind and committed to great customer service."
Kalypso Suites Hotel - Adults Only

Elounda Living Residences by Ghh
"Elounda vista was the best choice for our family vacation. The villa was so clean and tidy that it felt just like home but better. The welcoming decorations were absolutely delightful. All the facilities were very clean. The view from the rooms and pool was breathtaking. The manager of the hotel Soulema was a special bonus to our stay. Always helpful and super friendly. Thank you for the great holidays. We will definitely be back. "
Porto Elounda Golf & Spa Resort, Six Senses Spa
"A very good stay overall in a beautiful, quiet setting right on the water. It's a high-end resort and fairly secluded, which made it relaxing, but keep that in mind if you'd rather be close to restaurants and town. The food was the weak spot. It was fine but not great, and I expected a bit more given the price. Comfortable, well kept, and worth it if you're after quiet luxury and don't mind being a little out of the way."

Elounda Beach Hotel & Villas, a Member of the Leading Hotels of the World
"We have stayed at Elounda Beach on a number of occasions in recent years and each of those visits has been wonderful. Our most recent stay, in late September, was equally great. As on earlier trips we booked on a half board basis, for nine nights on this occasion, for a specific villa, through the Guest Loyalty arrangements, and enjoyed all the benefits that brings – airport transfers, guaranteed accommodation of our choosing, discounts on extras such as drinks, access to all four of the super restaurants and so on. The whole arrangement from our arrival at Herakion Airport to our return there at the end of the visit worked so smoothly and made our stay perfect. It was faultless! Of course, the resort is in a unique setting with its own private beaches but the biggest advantage that guests enjoy is the high quality of the staff, from Reception to staff at the restaurants and bars, those responsible for housekeeping, the gardening team and many others working behind the scenes. Without exception they are friendly, helpful and a joy to deal with. They are a great credit to Elounda Beach Hotel. It would be difficult to name all those we were in contact with, but it is worth mentioning the stand-out service we received from Lia Prenza the Guest Loyalty Manager and her assistant Vasssia Kalampaliki who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was so good. Equally, the lovely Maria and Johanna in the Guest Experience team at Reception who happily arranged restaurant reservations and offered advice on a range of topics. Also, a mention for Babis the excellent sommelier who provided us with help and advice on our wine selections at each of the restaurants. Taken together this was an excellent holiday. Wonderful restaurants, superbly well-maintained accommodation, a lovely site and even the good weather played its part! We will return in 2026."
Elounda Eleon Villas
"A new experience for me booking a package with EasyJet but no need to be concerned. A few days before arrival I made contact with Maria, I had decided to make my own transfer and had a little issue with mobility after hip surgery but nothing too much trouble, she was a star, communication was simple and she took away any worries I might have had. I won’t repeat many previous reviews as it’s clear that the suites are wonderful and lack for nothing, what will take your breath away are the views! Often you’ll be promised a sea view, trust me this accommodation delivers and then some. I’m reluctantly giving this top score, not because it doesn’t deserve it, for it most definitely does, but because I think this will make it harder for me to come back here once everyone else realises how good it is. ❤️"
Elounda Olea Villas and Apartments
"An amazing choice for every type of traveler! Upon our arrival we had a warm welcome from the owner and a very thoughtful basket with goodies for our stay. The villas are beautiful, the beds have lovely mattresses and there is a swimming pool to relax if you choose not to visit a beach for the day. Angeliki greeted us with lots of info on the area and suggestions for tours and meals. A home away from home with a touch of luxury."
Petra Elounda Suites - Adults Only
"Beautifully designed apartment in a wonderful location. Lots of thought went into the design of this place. Great location too. Waking up to the sun rising over the island with the waves lapping was magical!"
Elounda George Studios
"I had the best time staying at George Studios, it was very clean, perfect location, room is a good size with a small kitchen which has everything you need and bathroom. It’s a 5 minute walk into the village which is perfect, and a little shop called Euromarket one minute walk away which stays open till midnight! The family who own it are all lovely, and any problems I had was sorted very quickly and was no problem at all. Thankyou again! If I come back to Elounda I will definitely stay here again. :)"
