"Perfect location, everything was easily accessible. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and we were even able to check in early. Breakfast was delicious and there was something for everyone. We would book again."

"To start with, an excellent location, within walking distance of the centre. The hotel has 2 parking spaces: 1 at the hotel and 1 across the street. These are free for overnight guests. The hotel does not have a restaurant (but it does have an excellent breakfast buffet at a very reasonable rate!). There is a restaurant right next to the hotel, but there are plenty of dining options within a fifteen-minute walk. I thought the room was excellent. Good mattress, safe, minibar (free soft drinks and beer). There was also little wrong with the bathroom. In fact: finally a hotel where the placement of the (very good) shaving mirror and the toilet roll holder has been carefully considered. Attention to detail!. The reception staff are helpful. Also pleasant was the option to check in or out early or late for a very reasonable fee. In short, an excellent stay!"

"Some minutes walk from the center, which is not harmful. Equipment in general good, rooms and especially bathrooms should be a little lighter. The sustainable breakfast without packed portions convinces. The service in the room and breakfast could be a little more attentionful (note in detail when checking out, may be better than in the near future). We had included coffee/cake in the price. The cappuccino was good, the cake wasn't so, so we didn't take it on the second day. A couple at the neighbouring table loud him on that day. We had booked the room for the special price. "We had a double room, which was very beautiful and bright. The rooms have very beautiful colours and are tastefully furnished. The bathrooms are very clean and breakfast was very delicious. The breakfast buffet had a very large selection of fruit to Müsli. It is a Greek restaurant right next to the hotel, allowing you to go through a door to the restaurant without having to leave the hotel. The hotel has a very central location, it is quite close to the city and it is very close to the wall that is super suited for beautiful walks. It really liked us and we'd like to come back."

"We visited the hotel in 2019 (under the old owner) and in August 2023. Whoever here expects a modern hotel is disappointed here. No, this hotel is needed to visit if you look for something else. The hotel is in an old building from the Preussen times. Even when you arrive (parking right in the house), you can see this great restored old building. When you enter, you will immediately notice that here is sprayed a special charm of history. The hotel has a total of 20 rooms of different size and equipment. There is no lift here, but a large stairs. We had room 28 in the first floor, at the end of the corridor. With a front/garderobe you get into the room (by an extra door). The room is divided into the bedroom with a bed and a hairdryer with a large leather couch, a small desk with a small refrigerator and coffee maker. The back of it is the bathroom. All is in good to very good condition and clean. The breakfast offered is normal standard. The hotel staff is nice and always helpful. Concluded: When we come back to Emden, we'll go back to this hotel."
