Fanxing Mountain House (Emeishan Scenic Area)

A very nice hotel with large, clean rooms! It’s located very close to the tourist center. I especially want to highlight how pleasant the staff here are. They were always ready to help me, even walked me to the bus stop, and later gave me a ride to the train station. The breakfast is also very tasty. If you want to visit Mount Emei, this hotel is your best choice! I really hope to come back here again.

I spent two nights at this beautiful hotel, on a visit to Emeishan with my girlfriend. It was an amazing experience! First of all, the pick-up from the train station by the hotel owner was really a welcome touch — he helped us greatly throughout our stay, making sure we had the best possible experience in Emeishan. The room itself was beautiful — amazing views from our own private balcony; a very tasteful, new and comfortable interior; impeccably clean; and a great selection of fruit, snacks, etc. in the room. A beautiful and convenient location too. The breakfast was really good — lots of dishes, and both days were different. It was lovely to sit on the balcony in the morning, looking out at mountains, eating a delicious breakfast and drinking coffee. I would highly recommend visiting Emeishan itself, and I think this hotel is the perfect base for a trip there — the next day, we visited Leshan giant Buddha (not far away by train), before returning to Chengdu in the evening. Overall, a great place to stay, and I definitely want to visit again!

Convenient location, nice decor, the owner and his family were very warm, hospitable and accommodating. His wife has a really green thumb with all the beautiful flowers around the premises. They provided transport services to and from the railway station and even to a nice restaurant they recommended one night. It was one of the best meals we had in SiChuan during our visit. We had fun dressing up in Hanfu and took nice photos. We’d be happy to stay here again.
