"Checked in with Jeff very easy yet not very personable. Amenities extra $15/day even if you’re not using. Gym pool spa internet parking buffet breakfast. No disability parking in front door entrance only back (which was to far away from room) no help offered with luggage (only self service heavy push carts) Did not ask if I wanted help or if I was going to utilize these amenities. Room smelled of heavy use chemicals to clean room. (Could taste it). Ocean view claim with balcony was actually only seen if you walked and peered to the left. Bed not the most comfortable. Exit room door would slam at night very loud. Walk in tile shower floor slippery while showering and shower head had very low pressure."

"The location is okay, up in the mountains. You can drive directly up. It's about a ten-minute walk from the hotel to a street with plenty of food options. A little further on, you can reach the beach. The room facilities were a bit damp; there's room for improvement."

"Anke has created a truly European experience, from the push-button showers, to the comfortable duvet. The delicious breakfast changed each day and ranged from shakshouka to smoked salmon. We borrowed the ebikes for a nice ride on the bike path along Highway 101, and there were always fresh cookies at the end of the day. We look forward to going back soon."
