The room was very lovely, with a huge balcony as was the garden which looked out on the river and was very peaceful. We spent many lovely afternoons there. Look out for the hotel cat who is very friendly. The hotel facilities (gym, pool, jacuzzi) are very accessible, if a little dated. A few things that could be improved about the hotel. It seemed nearly impossible to ever find a member of staff to ask for a drink/ some food, often having to wait for 10 mins or more. However when the staff did come, they were very friendly and helpful. And without any warning one morning construction went up on the terrace making it completely unusable. This was not advertised to the guests and was quite inconvenient. The restaurant is quite expensive and limited in what it has to offer. For a really great meal we recommend going across the road to Casa De Tapas.

The staff were charming and very helpful. The pillows were excellent 🤣and the outlook of the hotel absolutely lovely. My one comment that is meant to be helpful is that it would be better if guests were alerted to the fact that the swimming pool has a wall that is under water and does not extend the entire length of the visible water. That is potentially dangerous in my view.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Ribeira Collection Hotel. The room was very elegant and comfortable. I recommend getting a room with river view. The breakfast service was very complete. I recommend going during the week, if you can, so the spa area isn’t too crowded. Already planning on returning!

The location is amazing with an astonishing view of the river. The staff is polite and very friendly. The breakfast is great, with lots of flavoring local products. The room is cozy, with a nice balcony, comfy bed. It is a great place to come with children
