I spent six nights here in October. In almost every aspect my experience was excellent. The suite I was allocated was spacious and well-equipped. The style of furnishing is traditional rather than modern but the room was very comfortable. The bath/shower could perhaps be upgraded to match the standard of the rest of the room. Breakfast and meals from the upstairs restaurant were very good and wifi worked well. There is also a pool and spa, but I did not use them. I did, though, use the gym. It is well equipped with machines and free weights (some of the broken attachements for the weights machines shouldf be replaced though) but my main complaint was that it was extremely hot - 27 degrees. It didn't help that the door was left open (allowing all the heat from the spa and pool in) and that some of the people working out kept adjusting the air conditioning to make it hotter. But overall I enjoyed my stay very much and woud happily visit again.

Cristal Erbil Hotel has friendly staff and is clean, but that’s where the positives end. Parking is limited, rooms are small, and toiletries are very poor — no dental kit, slippers, or cotton buds. My “garden view” was just a wall or another building. The location is far from city activities. Overall, not more than a 3-star experience.

I booked this hotel twice. But their reservation staff is very very rude. A five-star hotel has no right to say that a guest is not allowed to visit you. This is really disrespectful to hotel guests. I have traveled to over 12 countries and this was the first hotel that disrespected me like this. I told them why they are not allowed to answer correctly. And this hotel is far from the city center. As a person who goes to 5-star hotels, I do not recommend this hotel at all. They are very rude and uncultured
