Seth Mestral & Llebeig

Enjoyed a week here in June, weather was gorgeous We stayed in the Mestral side of the accommodation in a 2 bedroom apartment. The living room was spacious with fully fitted kitchen, tv , sofa bed and a large bathroom. Both bedrooms had twin beds with large wardrobes and plenty space for clothes. One bedroom also had an en-suite bathroom We had a large terrace with table and chairs and a large airer for drying clothes. The airer was snapped so wouldn't stay up however it didn't take long for it to be replaced with a brand new one. Meals are opposite the apartments with a great selection of items for breakfast. Evening is also buffet, the menu gets pinned on a notice board every morning. Evening meals I found fine but could have done with being a little bit hotter. 3 nice pool areas one being the children's splash pool. Beside that was a decent sized play area however there was no shade so it was a bit hot for the kids to play on during the day. There is a little supermarket opposite the apartments, and a few other in resort. Resort not huge but was fine for us with the extended family ranging from 1-79 years old. Lovely wooden walkway to the beach and can walk along the coastal path taking in stunning views of the sea.

Very clean staff look smart. Food average pools good. Few things that could help shelves in bathrooms. Locks on bathrooms lock on door and patio door all these things help with having kids. One thing I did see I didn’t like was cook walking in apron smoking not great impression

We have just returned from a family holiday here with a 3yr old and a 7yr old. Its a beautiful place and great for children. Both of my children loved the pool and the beach, however weren't a fan of the food so we ate out of the hotel a couple of evenings. The evening bouncing castles were fantastic! Hours of fun for the kids. I do however have a couple of issues that let the stay down. On the first night I went to reception and let them know the sofa bed was broken. The metal underneath was hanging off and fell in the middle. A maintenance man came with 10 mins and cable tied it together stating he would be back in the morning with a new bed. The next day the bed didnt come. I asked again when I seen him and he said he said now the next day. We gave up and just slept on the dodgy bed. It was so uncomfortable and metal bits sticking up which caused bruises all over my legs getting in and out of it. Our bins weren't taken for the whole week we was there. When asking the cleaner, she said they only take bathroom trash so a week worth of food and nappies piled by our door and endless amount of water bottles collated under the sink. Our clothes airer was also broken, reception said this would be replaced. Again this never happened. As I say, it has the potential to be a great place but our stay was let down a little unfortunately.

Nice hotel for family's food was good nice pools local area not loads to do.but there is a bus station on the bottom of the Rd. Right by the beach

We stayed at the SETH Mestral and Llebeig in the first 2 weeks of July and I can honestly say it's the best family we've had yet. The staff were so incredibly helpful all the way from reception, housekeeping, groundskeeping, staff at Las Dunas and the amazing animation team. Our son is 6 and the animation team were so lovely and fun with him. The kids club had lots of good activities on and there's a full program on throughout the day. Sone activities are kids only and others are for everyone. We absolutely loved the animation team and we enjoyed their quizzes, aquagym and bingo! They even included our Jamie by allowing him to be the bingo caller for one game. These ladies are absolute treasures and they really helped make our holiday memorable! We can't thank them enough! Our apartment was clean and well attended to by housekeeping staff and the rooms were well equipped and the air conditioning was an absolute life saver on the hottest days. Make sure the patio doors are completely closed for the air conditioning to work. We were half board and the food at the restaurant, Las Dunas across the road, was really varied, healthy and tasty. My mum commented on the fact that the food was always hot and the chefs replenished dishes regularly. There was a separate buffet for kids and I could see plenty of kid friendly choices available. The front of house and waiting staff were so lovely and we loved eating here. Breakfast was really really good as well. I definitely judge a place on the quality of their breakfast and I was delighted with Las Dunas. Big shout out to David, Ivan and Carlos! In the evening, we hung out in the bar area where there was a mini disco for the kids, mini golf and bouncy castles (golf and jumping cost extra but it's worth it). The barman Tony was great banter and overall it was a lovely place to hang out. We spoke to more families on this holiday than on any previous holidays and the atmosphere was so friendly. We highly recommend this hotel to other families with young children. Menorca is a beautiful island but make sure to take antihistamine cream for mosquito bites and insect repellent!
