There were lots of bilberries growing around the lodge.
You need to let the lodge know two hours before you want dinner.
The lodge staff don't have showers in their rooms, so you need to ask at the front desk to borrow one.
There are only a few staff members, but they are all polite.
The toilets were sustainable.

We did glamping. Wonderful setting. The staff is very kind, accommodating and helpful. The food excellent. The place and surrandibgs are just amazing.

- There is an open construction site just in front of the rooms. We were never informed about this and the disturbance (visual and sound wise) that this would bring us. - Food choice for vegetarian (vegan) is extremely limited. However there were some options (salad or an oat bowl) - they even tasted ok depending on the day (if the chef was present). However the price of 26€ for a small vegan bowl of cabbage, oats, veggies and beens / 20€ for a salad felt like a rip off. (And did not taste very well) - Sauna. Normally in Finnland sauna is included, but here you had to pay 50€ extra if you wanted to use the sauna in the evening. I understand this meant to save energy, but with the price of the room it felt like it should be included. - Staff. Very kind and very young. Felt like all of them were super sweet teenagers but when we complained it was obvious that it wont bring anything. The girls were changing every day and it just did not seem very professional. - For cleaning the premises a motor car is used, wich does not fit at all to the whole sustainability concept. - For a three nights stay our room felt a bit cramped. Rooms are very small!

Very nice atmosphere and service! Good hiking location near the lake. Truly recommend this venue for short getaway. Staff were very friendly and restaurant had good selection of drinks and food. All in all nice experience, very Finnish and down to earth.

Glamping tent was cozy, bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly, you felt welcomed. Food is made from local ingredients and was delicious. Location is beautiful, surrounded by nature

Had a relaxing and cosy stay here while hiking the surrounding areas with my partner, a convenient location to base off. We were warmly welcomed by Miko, one of the proprietors of the establishment, who gave us a detailed explanation of the premises as well recommendations on popular hikes. Appreciated the sustainability features including cups, cutlery used. Dinner menu was always changing depending on available local produce, which we enjoyed. Breakfast buffet was equally enjoyable, made even more so by chef/ops Sari. We liked the sourdough bread and spreads in particular. Rooms were warm and welcoming. Loved the lights in the room, every one (from foyer, bedside, main living area to bathroom) seemed infinitely dimmable. Helped with setting the mood!

Best part: Service, lovation, rooms The room looked nice and was clean. Service was amazing, really personal. Instructions were really clear and we heard more than just the necessary things. There could be more food options during the evenings. Also, the sauna was quite expensive, although nice.

A lovely little hotel nestled right in Nuuksio with hiking trails starting practically at the doorstep. The room was perfectly adequate, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Service throughout our stay was warm and welcoming. We appreciated the restaurant’s concept of a changing menu based on seasonal and available ingredients, and the food did not disappoint. Breakfast was another highlight, featuring high-quality fish and fresh, still-warm buns. The entire experience was marked by moderation and quality and visible commitment to sustainability.
