My daughter and I stayed at Hampton by Hilton St. Thomas, and we felt our experience was average. It is located close to Havensight Marina and within walking distance to a few good restaurants. The room were comfotable, and breakfast had a good selection. Sometimes our room's view of the marina was obstructed due to cruise ships. Overall, I feel this overpriced hotel could offer its customers a concierge and free airport shuttles. Recommend finding a better hotel or Airbnb nearby.

We booked this last minute after an AirBNB cancellation. It was expensive, but is new, clean, and in a great central location. You can walk to shopping, bars, and restaurants from the hotel and the front desk was super helpful in arranging taxis to the beaches. The room was comfortable and we had a nice harbor view (only blocked by a cruise ship the first two days). It was good to have breakfast included although it was repetitive after a few days. There is a great outdoor patio area where you can eat breakfast or have an evening drink. The pool area is small but the water was colder than I would have liked. Overall, this was a good hotel and I’d recommend it to anyone that just wants a base to explore the island from.

Hotel was in a great location, and staff were friendly. Room was clean. They were very helpful with calling a taxi for me when I needed one and I was away from the hotel. However, sometimes when calling the front desk, they were hard to get ahold of. The tables during breakfast were not cleaned in a timely manner, and they ran out of items fairly quickly. I had booked on a third-party website, and I was not told that the website had undercharged me and had not included the HDA tax. The hotel did not tell me that my card would be charged the difference, and they did not give me a receipt upon checkout saying that I would be charged the tax. I have no qualms about paying what I owe if I was told upfront, but I only found out after seeing my credit card statement. Hopefully this is just growing pains for a new property and not an underhanded method of taking more money.

My wife and I stayed here before going over to St John. It was certainly a mixed bag…some good, some bad. The hotel is fairly new and in a good location, maybe 10 minutes from the airport. Getting to it was tough as google maps lead us to a dead end. The street is blocked off by a fence. You have to go in at the Pirate Museum entrance. The hotel is modern and clean.n the staff was very friendly. Our room was nice, beds were comfortable but pillows were flat. The shower was very good. Most hotel showers have little water pressure. This one took the top layer of skin off. The fitness center was well equipped. The water dispenser was empty and there were no cups if it had water. The breakfast was pretty good. Typical continental breakfast but hot food was pretty good. Nice eating area. The bad parts…the restaurant across the street was playing music at night, very loud. It was hard to go to sleep. I would ask for a room on the back side of the hotel. They advertise the harbor view. Well, it’s hard to see the harbor with two gigantic cruise ships parked just outside the back of the hotel. Withe the ships in port, the area around the hotel was very crowded. The Hampton served our purposed but I don’t think it would be my home base for my stay on St Thomas.

I was surprised about the hotel location with most window views of the island blocked by the cruise ships docked next to the hotel. The boats usually left by 5pm. Breakfast was included every day. The location was convenient in town walking to the bars and restaurants. If you’re going to this hotel stay away from Christmas time to new year’s.

Our stay was great!! The staf was professional and very accommodating. We want to give a special shout-out to Denique, who went above and beyond to help us arrange a taxi for our airport pick-up. Also, the other ladies at the front desk were just as kind and helpful, offering excellent service with a smile. Our room was spotless — everything was so CLEAN, you could still smell that brand-new freshness throughout the hotel! We had a harbor view, and the scenery was stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. While there, it was a bit of construction happening, but honestly, it wasn’t a bother at all. The location is also perfect — close to restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the area.

I lived on one of the islands for the past twenty years & was returning on a business trip. I had stayed @ lots of different hotels & resorts in the past. This hotel is clean, new, has a business center & a great view of the harbor. I pretty much walked everywhere & didn’t have a need to take a taxi. It’s relatively close to the airport, Havensight, Yacht Haven Grande & even French Town & Crown Bay Marina. I would definitely stay there again- what is a bonus is breakfast is included!

This hotel is fairly new. Very nice hotel, clean and great location as it is near shops and the cruise dock. The hotel offers free breakfast which we were shocked that they used real pates and glassware ( I hope they keep that ) it does make a difference and adds a little touch. The rooms are spacious and we had a nice view of the water. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay. There is a bar open at night as well on pool deck. I definitely would come back again. To explore town you can request a taxi with hotel staff for pick up.
