Another amazing stay at IKOS Andalusia. There were a few teething issues with service that we are putting down to it being opening week, but on the whole, top tier as usual and still a 5 star stay. Darko and his team were superb and really took care of us for our beach meal. I did notice this year they’re trying to accommodate adults only as much as families which we definitely appreciated but you do have to go and understand this is a families first resort and there will be (a lot) of children. If you’re reading this and thinking: is it really worth it? YES is the answer! But IKOS - give us an adults only soon .. please! See you IKOS Oceania in the summer.

What can I say about the Ikos Andalucia. It is without any doubt the best all inclusive resort in the world that we have ever stayed at. We had a superb hotel room with a balcony overlooking the Deluxe Pool and restaurant with the Beach and the sea behind. During our stay we dined at all seven of the different themed superb a’ la Carte restaurants for lunch, breakfast and dinner. We also had lunch at the Chiringuito on the beach and the dined out at Tikitano both were equally fantastic. All the menus at these restaurants have been specially created by top Michelin star chefs, the quality and presentation of the food was outstanding. The service we received was exceptional and every single member of staff could not do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. I could easily name every single member of staff for giving us excellent service during our stay. I have shortlisted a selection for of the most memorable below. George @ Ouzo Restaurant Nikos @ The Main Bar Anna @ Customer Relations Team Ivana @ The Main Bar Also not forgetting the delightful Duty Manager Pilar Artacho Miranda. We have also stayed previously at the Ikos Olivia in Halkidiki which was also equally amazing. I would highly recommend Ikos Hotels as a brand to everyone, we will definitely be back again and again. IKOS Andalusia did not fail to provide the excellent holiday experience for which the IKOS brand is renowned. Everything about the resort met the highest standards, from the rooms, the restaurants - 7 a la carte and 1 buffet style - to the pools and bars. The staff throughout the resort are amazing, always smiling and happy to help. There was always someone available to deal with any queries. The restaurants provide exceptional food and drinks and we ate every night, and some lunchtimes, in one of the seven a la carte restaurants. We lunched twice at Chiringuito on the beach and Darko ensured we were well looked after. Darko also looked after us in Flavors where we chose to have our breakfast every morning. The pools were very well managed with lots of sunbeds, towels and constant drinks and snacks available. You even had your sunglasses cleaned. We did use the spa on one occasion and were disappointed the steam room was not hot enough and there was no jacuzzi but these are the only shortcomings I can think of and they did not spoil our enjoyment during our six night stay. I would definitely recommend IKOS Andalusia.

This place is the best all inclusive I have ever stayed in. Superb super superb. Christas and Martha on checkin were second to none. We requested a room change to a room with a garden as opposed to balcony for our little boy, no issues and all luggage moved for us. Food- incredibly good. Every single restaurant is top drawer. Drink- unlimited options. Excellent. Wines really good too. Beach- worst part of the resort but still ok, pools and rest of it are so good you don’t need to use the beach! Service / staff- the best customer service ever. WhatsApp chat / concierge is a total game changer. Nothing is an issue for them. They just get great customer service, seems so obvious when you see them do it, very naturally done too, not excessive. Family oriented- brilliant for young families with kids, we had our 2 year old with us. All restaurants have areas for families where it’s chaotic and kids doing kids stuff but also have quiet and adult only areas. Pools- first 2 days pools were chilly, especially the kids pools, but by day 3 they seemed to have sorted it. The central pool and scented pools were definitely the warmest. Poolside waiters also brilliant and QR codes make ordering to your loungers so easy. Play areas/ sports facilities are excellent. We will be back, to this and other Ikos resorts. Brilliant set up, can’t fault it. Only downside was the queue for breakfast which was at times 5-10 mins long to get a table. Not a massive issue at all. Thank you!

It was our second time at Ikos Adalusia and we had the best week of uninterrupted family time surrounded by 5 star service. Special thanks to the whole of Delux team who made our every wish a reality and looked after us so well. Its people who make a hotel special so really thank you so much to Mateo who went over and above the expectations to make this holiday so memorable for us.

We stayed in the second half of May for the fourth time in an Ikos resort and this was our second holiday in Ikos Andalusia. The resort has assets on all fronts to guarantee a luxurious, pleasant and carefree stay. The biggest assets are without a doubt the setting maintained with great care and attention to nature, the wide range of deliciously prepared dishes and beverages in the various restaurants and bars as well as the friendly staff who are motivated and work hard to please the guests. Our preference for dinners goes to Seasons and the Beach Club. Mohammed from the lobby bar deserves a special mention for his dedication and kindness. A side note for the waiters at the Main Bar: some of them sometimes lack a bit of proactivity to take orders from the guests sitting on the terrace. We stayed in the Deluxe Collection Area, in a beautiful junior suite with sea view on the third floor of building 5. A lesser point is that there was no desk or chair in our room to work with the laptop. We were surprised that the period of our stay coincided with the busy high season for young families with babies and toddlers, which led to long maxi-cosi queues and a lot of noise and animosity in the buffet restaurant Flavors. Finally, a warning for which the hotel is not at fault: we, as walkers on the beach promenade, were personally involved twice in collisions with speed pedelecs and e-steps that were driving much too fast and carelessly.

Luxury, variety, beauty, warm pools, friendly guests and simply outstanding service is standard at this resort. There are so many pools, activities, restaurants and types of rooms that one will always find something here to fit your desires. It is also very handicap friendly, with ramps and lifts everywhere. Here are a few of the employees who helped us have a wonderful stay: Anita/reception; Flor/Uzo; Andrea/porter; Azahara/beach club; Miltos/Fresco; Angelo/cocktail bar; Denise/cocktail bar; Alberto/beach pool; Marta/pool bar; Ernesto/beach pool; José/Uzo; Vaclav/Anaya; and Christo/reception. Seriously, these colleagues do an amazing job allowing their guests to maximise their holiday at Ikos Andalusia.

Recommended by my work colleague who raved about the food, service and resort as a whole, Ikos Andalusia did not disappoint. We stayed for 5 nights before I had to go to Malaga for work and the highlights were the Spa (best massage I’ve had in my life), free bike hire and exploring the local area on 2 wheels, the cod croquettes from Oliva, frozen daiquiris, the gardens, the choice of pools and a fab hotel gym. The only negative for us was the unpleasant smell in our shower which occured when it wasn’t used for a number of hours and we could smell the same odour outside too. I’m unsure whether this was due to sewage, algae on the beach or a combination of both. Overall we really enjoyed our stay even if it was a bit whiffy at times!
