Stayed one night, £110 room only. The restaurant was closed which wasn't a problem as enjoyed a meal at another pub, but the bar wasn't open either, also not really an issue. The room was very dated in decor and facilities. A large family room with a small TV and no glasses for water or drinks. The towels were so thin you could see through them, one with a hole in and frayed edges. Whilst all pretty clean there was mildew around the bath edge and tiles and a crack in the sink(see photos). There was a note in the room asking you not to take a bath or turn the heating up (not that we required heating) We appreciate the need to reduce costs but as paying guests on holiday, we feel these aren't appropriate requests. There was noise from the floor above until gone midnight leading to a poor night's sleep. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and had only had the inn for 2 days. Sadly we won't be returning and wouldn't recommend staying there but wish the owner luck in her new venture as the establishment needs a lot of money and work to bring it up to a standard worthy of £110 per night (without breakfast!).

Watch out. These guys have cameras and recording equipment. Your private conversations will be recorded and filmed, whether you consent or not.. Really don't understand why they feel they have to do this. It's incredibly intrusive. This is just a wee Scottish village, not a big city.

We stayed for a about 10 days at this B&B and it was amazing! The new owners are very knowledgeable and friendly, and we like that it is a family run business. The room as well as the restaurant and bathrooms were perfectly clean. The new rustic décor adds to the charm of the old building. The staff were all very helpful and kind. We will definitely be returning!

Hi people, Falklands a definite tourist town. I myself am a Fifer. The haggis starter was ok. Not good over cooked and crisp was a crust. I ordered fish n chips as main.. oh dear was bad. Chips were ridiculously over salted. The fish was greasy. (No tartare sauce either) also no peas! (Get your head around that people)! Fish n chips from Bruce inn is as follows. Greasy tawtie chips and very salty. Fish is greasy and not quality. They don’t offer tartare sauce just one splice (that’s not a typo) of lemon. Pedantic food. Staff were excellent throughout. Staff informed Me After I informed That food was lame… (answer was “chefs” no had his best day today) pffft. Anyways.
