It was a quick trip. I looked at the B&B recommended by Ctrip. I didn’t have high expectations at first. I just wanted to breathe fresh air in the mountains. Unexpectedly, I stayed in an ancient village that blended simplicity and modernity. It was very convenient to have meals and coffee. With a 270-degree floor-to-ceiling window view, the family can drink tea and eat melon seeds in their room or on the platform downstairs. They can sleep on the gurgling stream at night, listen to the sound of rain on rainy days, and watch the flow of mist on the mountains. . . Comfortable and satisfying. The key is that the lady at the ”Qingyu” store is both artistic and heart-warming. Since we arrived by high-speed train early in the morning and it was still early to check in, she thoughtfully prepared breakfast, including handmade glutinous rice siomai, pumpkin millet porridge, and Jiangxi rice noodles. Fruit is provided daily. Knowing that we can't eat spicy food, they gave us the kitchen and stocked rations for free, making us feel at home. The shop owner’s photography skills are top-notch and she took many beautiful photos for us. She loves nature and takes her children to see beehives and spiders building webs. . He also helped us take care of the two little ducks we bought from the market that couldn’t be carried on the train. I have never written so many reviews on Ctrip. I really think this B&B deserves a thumbs up. Keep it up. I hope I can see the rime in winter in the future.

Anonymous UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the entrance of Wanshou Palace commercial district, and a subway station is just out the other side, making transportation incredibly convenient! Downstairs, there's a bakery, and within Wanshou Palace, you have a wide selection of coffee shops and dessert places to choose from!
The hotel parking lot is huge, and parking is free.
The room was very comfortable and spacious. We booked a balcony room, where we could enjoy coffee and watch the streetscape below 🏙️.
The front desk staff were absolutely wonderful. They always greeted us with a smile, even sent a video guide because we were worried about finding the parking lot 🅿️, and recommended local specialty foods. Definitely highly recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located near Xianghu Lake, which is a great place to visit. The hotel environment is quite good, the lobby is beautiful, and the cleanliness is also decent. There were many weddings taking place at the hotel when I visited, so there were a lot of people, but the management was excellent; it didn't feel crowded or chaotic at all. The front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were all very nice, and they added me on WeChat for timely communication. The downsides are that the room didn't have a refrigerator and the elevators were a bit slow.

RollingstoneHampton by Hilton Nanchang Stay Review
Overview:
I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:
1. Room Size:
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.
2. Limited Dining Options:
While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery.
3. Noise:
Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers.

dyhxPleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to what I think is their suite room, or junior suite at least, on the highest floor at Level 26. A huge living room with a working desk and separate toilet. A luxurious bedroom with loads of space, a walk-in open wardrobe big enough for 2 large luggages. Bathtub, standing shower, another toilet and twin basins. Bed is firm but pillows are too soft for my liking.
Service was also on point, Barry at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
I guess all these makes up for the location. It's near the exhibition centre and Nanjingxi train station but other than that there's nothing else within walking distance. Luckily food delivery is fast and cheap here, same with ride hailing.
I wish the hotel had robots sending my delivery up though. And that the lifts worked faster.
But overall it's a good stay and will be my choice hotel the next time I attend an exhibition here.

Guest UserThe biggest impression from this stay was the absolutely five-star level of room service and staff quality – they deserve a special commendation!
A huge thank you to the hotel staff; their service was meticulous and thoughtful, and they were especially gentle and considerate with families traveling with children. Even when we arrived late at night, they proactively helped us with our luggage and tidying the room, patiently waiting throughout and fulfilling every request with warmth and professionalism. This really made us feel so welcome during our trip. The overall room experience was comfortable and quiet, with cozy bedding and a pleasant stay. The warmth of the staff's service truly lives up to the hotel's five-star positioning.
However! The hygiene and quality of the hotel's buffet breakfast severely dragged down the overall standard. The drop-off was huge, and the experience was extremely poor; we quickly checked out after just one night.
The breakfast variety was only average with absolutely no texture to speak of. The noodle soup broth was bland and tasteless, essentially just plain hot water. What was most disgusting was the seriously subpar hygiene:
The floor was greasy and sticky everywhere, flies were buzzing around the dining area, and there were insects crawling all over the floor.
All the cups and dishes had heavy grease and residual stains, clearly not properly cleaned, and were put directly on the table for use, which was incredibly off-putting.
As a five-star hotel, the rooms and service were top-notch, but they completely failed on the most basic aspect of breakfast hygiene. The staff's service was truly impeccable and heartwarming, but the breakfast environment's hygiene, tableware cleanliness, and food quality urgently need a complete overhaul.
I sincerely hope the hotel takes the management of the breakfast area's hygiene seriously, so that the excellent service and comfortable rooms aren't completely undermined by a dirty and messy buffet breakfast.

Yiyepianzhou1The environment, service, cleanliness, and location are all impeccable – definitely worth the price. It's located in what I'd consider the old city center of Nanchang, right next to a subway station, and the hotel has excellent parking. The room was very spacious. The only downside is that, perhaps due to the humidity in the south, the room and elevators appeared very old and gave the impression of a renovated old hotel. For a hotel that opened in '23, this shouldn't be the case. If you're particular about that, then it's an issue.

Aaron Ngu1984I had a wonderful stay at Galactic Classic International Hotel in central Nanchang. The location is unbeatable, steps away from Bayi Square and many local food spots, making sightseeing incredibly convenient.
My room was spacious, well‑furnished and spotlessly clean. Large windows brought in plenty of natural light, and the bed was incredibly comfortable for a good rest after long days out. All amenities worked perfectly, and housekeeping kept everything neat each day.
The breakfast buffet offered a wide range of both local specialties and international choices, fresh and flavourful. Every staff member I met was polite, attentive and quick to respond to requests.
If you are visiting Nanchang, this hotel is a solid pick for comfort, service and prime downtown location. I would happily come back on my next trip.
