"A pleasant stay - very friendly staff, nice, quiet, well-appointed room. Food was fine - I prefer a bit more seasoning and spice but it was still pleasant - and beer was good. Good location for a walk in wiltshire countryside, and I liked some of the small touches, like a free packet of seeds from the local environment."

"This hotel has absolutely nailed great customer service. From the Check In, food in the restuarant the service was first rate. The staffs very positive attitude and professional behaviour are what differetiates this hotel from the others. The food was lovel and plentiful, the bar and restuarant had a fantastic atmosphere and I was pleseantly surprised to find it so busy on a Wednesday night. The room was lovely, with a large assortment of teas and coffees. The milk flask and cookies was a really nice touch. The breakfast selection was good and the lady on breakfast duties was very attentive. If I was to make a minor, petty and pathetic groan, my egg on my shakshuka was not runny, but the taste of the food was really nice. The next time I come I will ask the chef for his shakshuka and sourdough bread recipe"
