Room was ideal facing the marina with a balcony. Original room was not to our liking as was dated with no balcony, reception changed the room straight away. Excellent choices for breakfast and never too busy. Location was perfect close to old town and railway station for day out. Scored 4 for amenities as the outside pool is being refurbished which is a shame.

good location, located in the center so it’s easy to go around.. the bus station is next to the hotel, and 2 mins away walking distance to McDonalds.. very nice breakfast with live music, great selection the indoor pool and sauna are clean and very nice the view from the room is lovely, got the marina, the beach, and the town..

Spectacular! I'll definitely be back. During breakfast, there was an incredible, super friendly pianist playing in a refined setting with wonderful, bright views.

Got the Marina view, worth i. Was so beautiful. It was my birthday and they catered very nicely to me to make my day special. I would definitely stay again. All the staff were nice and welcoming and very helpful in suggestions of places to go. Highly recommend this hotel!

Not my first time in Faro but chose this hotel for the rooms with balcony marina view. The hotel has a rich history and has been around since 1960s and its undergoing refurbishments in some areas. The old rooms look dated and could do with better cleaning as previous occupant’s hair was found in the bathroom. We loved the design & aesthetic looks of the new refurbished areas such as the spa, bathrooms, gym, pool & sauna but shame that there was a water leak in the indoor pool ceiling and rusty bits on the stainless steel railings. Considering it’s completed in Aug 2025, the hotel may need to do more due diligence to ensure the safety of guests. As a non Portuguese speaker, I felt that the check-in staff can make more efforts in being warm and welcoming. I noticed that this hotel is one of the few hotels ive been that check-in staffs are seated instead of standing, making the process somehow casual & less welcoming. I also called in to make a request for a late check out and received a hostile response by a lady who said ‘No. We need the room back’. We just got married the day before arriving & we are here to also celebrate my honeymoon & partner’s birthday. Weeks prior to arriving, I put in a request if the hotel could do a birthday special for him but this was not acknowledged. As an avid traveller who has stayed in many hotels around the world, I am a little dissapointed with the lack of personalised attentive service provided by the hotel. If the view & location isn’t a concern, I recommend the nearby 3HB hotel. We enjoyed our stay there. AP Eva senses have a great deal of potential, but they may be complacent at going beyond, as they are currently the only hotel at Faro marina. Additional employees like the elder gentleman pianist & hotel hairdresser were the warmest I’ve come across.

Superb location, very well presented with friendly helpful staff. Very clean rooms of a good size for two. Food is excellent. Have stayed here many times and would highly recommend.

Fantastic location! You can enjoy breakfast and watch the sunset directly from the rooftop. Highly recommend!

Location is perfect. Close to marina- a flat walk. Near shops restaurants. Breakfast - buffet is superb with live piano music.( which also takes place 6-7.30pm). Thoroughly recommend.

The room is basic furnished . In order to use the swimming pool it’s required swim cup, the water is not heated. Breakfast is beautiful, there is a wonderful pianist who plays the piano.

Great location right next to the marina with lovely views from the restaurant. Very clean, spacious rooms, excellent service and amazing breakfast.

Nice hotel in an excellent location. What I liked most was the piano music at breakfast. A talented musician with a great repertoire. I will be back with my family.
