Stay Hotel Faro Centro
"Great stay. Room was spacious and staff were friendly. Central location. The shower head in my room was faulty which affected water pressure."
HI Faro – Pousada de Juventude
"Not bad"
Hotel Monaco
"Would book again. No issues with the hotel."
Alameda Exclusive House
"The location was great, and the room was spacious, which made for a very comfortable stay. However, I was a bit disappointed to find several hairs on the sofa, indicating that the cleaning wasn't as thorough as it could have been."
AP Eva Senses
"Got the Marina view, worth i. Was so beautiful. It was my birthday and they catered very nicely to me to make my day special. I would definitely stay again. All the staff were nice and welcoming and very helpful in suggestions of places to go. Highly recommend this hotel!"
Hostel Casa d'Alagoa
"We booked a double room with en suite and breakfast included at £70 pn. The room was tiny with hardly enough room to pass each other and there was no breakfast or anything so you have to go out immediately upon waking. Having said that the room was clean and the bed linen good. The communal areas were decent with a well equipped kitchen and the front receptionists very friendly. Bathroom a bit odd with no hot water in the sink just a tap normally found in a public wc that goes off every 5 secs. If we had paid for a hostel dorm I wouldn’t complain …. But we didn’t."
Golden Beach Guest House & Rooftop Bar
"The hotel was small, but it was right on the beach and very clean. The only downside was the breakfast, which was just so-so."
À da Avó -The Guesthouse
"This hotel left a very poor impression. The room was advertised as having a private bathroom, but in reality none of the rooms have a private bathroom. Instead, there are only two shared bathrooms for all guests. We also had trouble getting into the property because we were sent the wrong access code. As a result, we were locked outside for about 30 minutes. Since nobody responded to our messages on Trip.com, we had to ask a passerby to call the property and help us sort out the situation. Cleanliness was average at best. The only positive thing I can mention about the staff is the cleaning lady, who was quite friendly and pleasant. What really shocked us was the check-out experience. At exactly 11:00 a.m., someone suddenly barged into our room and started shouting, “Are you leaving already?!” We were literally on our way out with all of our bags packed. Overall, I would only consider staying here for one night in an emergency. Otherwise, I would not recommend this place."
Best Western Hotel Dom Bernardo
"Really clean and inexpensive room with ample space. Great location close to tourist spots."

Aeromar Beach Hotel
"The room and location are good, and it's clean too. But the service wasn't that great. The room we booked wasn't the one we got. I booked a superior double room with a sea view and an outside balcony, but they gave us a room with an inside balcony. When we asked about it after checking in, the receptionist said it was the same room, just with different doors. I didn't make a scene. I paid for an outside balcony so my wife and I could have coffee and enjoy the view, but he told me there was no difference in the room other than the door. Anyway, I didn't argue, and he was polite. I complained to Trip.com."
Cardeal Suites & Apartments
"Place is clean and quiet. Many restaurants close by. Claudia provided exceptional service. Would be nice if cups could be provided in the room."
Solar Mendonca
"We stayed here 8 nights in the roof-top apartment with a spacious and sunny extended balcony area. Put simply, this is a superb boutique hotel which is well-located in the heart of Faro. It is a short walk to a wide variety of cafes and restaurants as well as the waterfront area and the old walled city. Within a couple of hundred metres there is a small supermarket and in under 10 minutes-walk, a much larger supermarket which is also the site of a large market open on Saturdays. The hotel itself cannot be faulted. It is super-clean and the rooms (we were shown an additional room while we were there, just for interest) are superb. The hotel is located in an old building which has been beautifully renovated in a no expenses spared way. Apart from the top quality of the hotel itself, what sets this hotel apart are the staff. Felipe and Helder are wonderful, friendly, caring and thoughtful people who are a pleasure to interact with and go out of their way to ensure a wonderful experience for their guests. And their support includes booking an excellent airport pick-up and return service, if guests need this. Our holiday there was great value for money and perfectly met our need for a relaxed and sunny time in lovely weather. While the hotel offers no breakfast or other meals, this is not a problem because there are any number of choices for all meals. We can only highly recommend this hotel and would love to return and explore more of the many Algarve attractions easily accessible from Faro."
Hostellicious
"Very clean, good location, good service, and free earplugs. However, the gap between the upper bunks is too big, so I always worry about things falling down."
3HB Faro
"I think it’s the best hotel in Faro city. Great facilities. The rooftop pool was nice."
Rialgarve
"Great place to stay when needing a stopover before an early flight from Faro, Sabrina was super helpful with accommodating some preferences on the room too, highly recommend."
Occidental Faro
"A totally worn out matrasse which hascaused serious painful experice during our stay in your Hotel. Even so we have informed your staff immediately about this serious issue but nobody did anything to solve this serious Matter. So no other room or even another matrasse has been available or offered to us. Fully understood that this could happen but shouldn't happen a a hotel of your category so as an experienced frequent traveller i expect a reasonable compensation Nevertheless up to know no serious exciuses or compensation has happend. Pretty Disappoint !!!!!!!!!!! That is not the way how to respect clients."
Pousada Palácio Estoi, Faro - Small Luxury Hotels of the World
"Fairytale Palace 🏰🧚♀️😍 WOAHH 10/10 💎 Everything spot on Thank you 🙏"
Sunlight House
"The location is strategic and the staff are super friendly. We came early and able to place our luggage there till check in timing. Location is near many eating outlets and the breakfast was great. Love the juice that was specially prepared- blend of melon, banana and apple."
DEAR FARO - GUEST HOUSE
"Very close to ALSA station, very convenient for travelers moving between cities. Initially, online check-in is required to obtain the main gate code. Because the host didn't notice our Trip.com order, we were briefly stuck at the entrance. Luckily, we found the host, who promptly resolved the issue for us – so helpful! If you booked this place but haven't received your confirmation, you can contact the host; she's very kind and you can contact her via WhatsApp. The house is very well-equipped, with plenty of small sofas, a kitchen for cooking (and they even provide salt and oil – super thoughtful!), a shared bathroom, and a small courtyard with some lounge chairs. It's a perfect place to relax even without leaving the house."
Hospedaria Frangaria
"made reservation at 23.30hrs on 2nd July, unable to arrange transport to hotel due to No taxis available in Faro after 23.00 hrs SUNDAY. Bolt and Uber drivers continued to let me down for the next 60 mins telephoned hotel and emailed also a cancellation request, received outragious inhospitable attitude and reply on the telpehone from different unfriendly Hotel staff"
Roots Hotel
"Very close to the Faro train station and bus station. Faro Airport is a €6 ride away. Can walk to the old town easily. We took the train to logos and did a boat ride to the sea caves. A very pleasant stay."
Oakmoon House
"This is a lovely clean and quirky place to stay. We had a very spacious room with ensuite bathroom. There is a large modern communal kitchen and a little patio for guests. It is centrally located snd the host Sara is welcoming and very helpful. The only negative point is the noise at night. We stayed 4 nights from Thursdsy to Monday and every night was very noisy into the early hours of the morning. Saturday night things quietened down at 5am!"
Luxury Guest House Opus One
"★☆☆☆☆ – An Absolute Joke of a “Luxury” Guesthouse If you value your money, sanity, and basic respect, do NOT stay at Opus One Guesthouse in Faro. Our experience was so appalling that I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. First off, the way we were treated when we dared to raise an issue was nothing short of disgusting. A small matter (which wasn’t even our fault) went from calm conversation to the staff turning into the rudest, most disrespectful people I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. Their sudden change in tone was jaw-dropping – one minute friendly, the next minute nasty and condescending. They tried to slap us with hidden charges for the most ridiculous things – tea bags, coffee, and even toothpaste. Yes, toothpaste. As if that wasn’t laughable enough, they attempted to charge us for a bedsheet with a “burn hole” they never once mentioned during our entire stay – only dropping this little surprise on us at the very last minute when we were checking out. The “queen bed” they proudly advertised? Absolute nonsense. It was literally two separate beds shoved together, leaving a lovely gap right down the middle. Comfort? Forget it. The coffee machine in our room was useless, unless you enjoy appliances that don’t work without fuss. And as for the room itself, I guess “luxury” now means holes in the walls from old power sockets that they’ve half-heartedly covered up. This place has the audacity to market itself as a luxury guesthouse, but the reality is an overpriced, poorly managed, run-down property with staff who clearly believe rudeness is part of the décor. Avoid this place at all costs – there are far better places in Faro that actually deserve your money and won’t treat you like an inconvenience."
Sleep & Go Faro Airport Guest House
"Decent experience and comfy stay here. Definitely a good option for a short stay and it's very near to the airport."
Mercedes Country House
"If you're looking after a hotel room in a bustling place... then you're wrong with this location. This is an amazing countryside guest house, between BnB and boutique hotel. Most probably a boutique BnB !! Everything fantastic from arrival through a small unsealed yet absolutely drivable path, to the spacious house and rooms, to the customer focused personal. Swimming pool, garden, amazing food and drinks will make you feel relaxed and pampered in less time than you needed to read this review. Stayed 2 nights, left reluctantly."
