"The hotel was easy to find and in a great location right in the heart of the old town. It’s about an 8-10 minutes walk to the marina, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants close by. The room was tidy and comfortable, although it wasn’t cleaned during our stay, so it seems you may need to request housekeeping if you want it. Breakfast was quite simple with just the basics. We also appreciated the 12 pm check-out, as it gave us a bit more time to rest before our afternoon trip."

"From start to finish, the service was extremely poor. Upon arrival, the receptionist was rude and appeared to be playing a game while attending to me, which immediately created an unprofessional impression. After I was given access to my room during extremely hot weather, I discovered that the air conditioning was not working. I returned to reception several times to request either a different room or, at the very least, a small fan, as the heat made it impossible to sleep. Unfortunately, my concerns were ignored, and no effective solution was provided. I work as a private chauffeur and was responsible for transporting a lovely family and their dog to the UK. They had paid a significant amount of money for the service, and being well-rested was essential for me to carry out my duties safely. However, due to the unbearable heat and the poor customer service, I was unable to sleep throughout the night. The following morning, I faced a long journey without having had any rest. Although I was exhausted and concerned about the situation, I had to continue the trip because the family needed to arrive in the UK within 48 hours. Overall, my experience at this hotel was deeply disappointing. The lack of professionalism, inadequate customer service, and failure to resolve a serious issue made the hotel unreliable and difficult to recommend."

"We booked a double room with en suite and breakfast included at £70 pn. The room was tiny with hardly enough room to pass each other and there was no breakfast or anything so you have to go out immediately upon waking. Having said that the room was clean and the bed linen good. The communal areas were decent with a well equipped kitchen and the front receptionists very friendly. Bathroom a bit odd with no hot water in the sink just a tap normally found in a public wc that goes off every 5 secs. If we had paid for a hostel dorm I wouldn’t complain …. But we didn’t."

"This hotel left a very poor impression. The room was advertised as having a private bathroom, but in reality none of the rooms have a private bathroom. Instead, there are only two shared bathrooms for all guests. We also had trouble getting into the property because we were sent the wrong access code. As a result, we were locked outside for about 30 minutes. Since nobody responded to our messages on Trip.com, we had to ask a passerby to call the property and help us sort out the situation. Cleanliness was average at best. The only positive thing I can mention about the staff is the cleaning lady, who was quite friendly and pleasant. What really shocked us was the check-out experience. At exactly 11:00 a.m., someone suddenly barged into our room and started shouting, “Are you leaving already?!” We were literally on our way out with all of our bags packed. Overall, I would only consider staying here for one night in an emergency. Otherwise, I would not recommend this place."

Even so we have informed your staff immediately about this serious issue but nobody did anything to solve this serious Matter. So no other room or even another matrasse has been available or offered to us. Fully understood that this could happen but shouldn't happen a a hotel of your category so as an experienced frequent traveller i expect a reasonable compensation Nevertheless up to know no serious exciuses or compensation has happend. "Lovely quiet hotel on the outskirts of town. I used the Uber every time which was less than E5. From the minute I arrived, the staff were friendly and very patient. The continental breakfast was very fresh and very reasonably priced at e 8. My room was bright , airy and spotlessly clean . I would recommend this lovely hotel if you want a nice quiet relaxing break."

"Very traditional hotel, nice atmosphere. The restaurant was nice. The reception is a bit small and hot, we were sorry for the staff who worked in that hot area. The rooms were quite large and nicely furnished but in one room which we asked for the extra bed, in that bed my son was attacked by bedbugs. That’s only thing that were disappointed"

"Liked · We stayed here since it was very close to the aurport and we had an early flight to catch. This hotel is 5 minutes car drive to the airport. The receptionist was very friendly and helped us book a Taxi for the airport transfer. The transfer costed €15 since it was early morning (03:30am) transfer. The hotel overall was quite good. Rooms were spacios and the beds were comfortable. The toilet also has a bidet which was very nice. The hotel also has its own car parking which is free of cost. Disliked · Since I stayed very less, there is no comment regarding what i did not like. Everything was as expected."

"Very close to ALSA station, very convenient for travelers moving between cities. Initially, online check-in is required to obtain the main gate code. Because the host didn't notice our Trip.com order, we were briefly stuck at the entrance. Luckily, we found the host, who promptly resolved the issue for us – so helpful! If you booked this place but haven't received your confirmation, you can contact the host; she's very kind and you can contact her via WhatsApp. The house is very well-equipped, with plenty of small sofas, a kitchen for cooking (and they even provide salt and oil – super thoughtful!), a shared bathroom, and a small courtyard with some lounge chairs. It's a perfect place to relax even without leaving the house."

"The hotel's location is excellent for exploring Faro's charming city center. The front of the small hotel is easily overlooked. Shops, cozy restaurants, and historic buildings, such as the church with the skulls "Capela dos Ossos," are all within walking distance. The welcome was warm, and we were allowed to store our suitcases a few hours before check-in at 3:00 PM. A narrow hallway with a few stairs leads to the 24-hour reception desk through an electric, guarded door. Our room, located right next to the reception, had good air conditioning and working Wi-Fi. It's a clean room with two single beds and convenient power outlets right next to the bed. There's also a wardrobe for storing clothes. The clean, small bathroom features a lovely hot shower with fixed walls, a shampoo dispenser, and lovely clean bath towels. There's also a sink with a mirror, a toilet, and a hairdryer. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, and for €18, we were promptly driven to the nearby airport at 4:00 a.m. by a friend of the hotel owner. Uber taxis are often cheaper, but it's nice to have a little more certainty beforehand."

"I loved my stay at Oakmoon House! The location is ideal for walking to restaurants, the historic center and other points of interest. My room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and pillows, large fluffy towels and the shutters made the room nice and dark for sleeping. The common areas were lovely, with a large dining table, a living room with comfortable couches and a nice patio area. The very modern kitchen is available for the guests to use. It is huge with everything you would need if you wanted to cook for yourself or just wanted to chill a bottle of wine in the refrigerator during your stay. While breakfast is not provided, coffee and tea is available. And, there were nice touches like motion detector lights in the stairway and halls, a keypad entry for the main door, plenty of outlets in the room, and information brochures and a restaurant guide. Sara was very helpful when I arrived recommending some nearby restaurants and offering some information about the area. It’s clear that a lot of thought went into this place to make it comfortable for the guests. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Faro and can highly recommend it!"
