Borgo Dei Lecci Puglia ★★★★
"Stylish renovated property with beautifully planted grounds. There are various little seating areas dotted around the property. It really is a very thoughtfully designed hotel. The staff were friendly and professional. The lady organising breakfast, Tonia, was so kind and welcoming. Pros: the stylish design, cleanliness, professional staff, comfortable quiet room, super shower/hammam, delicious breakfast, garden planting, quiet location. Cons: the pool was very cold, no dinner restaurant in the hotel and a trek to find one by car."
Canne Bianche Lifestyle Hotel ★★★★★
"Wow. This is an amazing hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were attentive and noted what we did or ate and anticipated our needs at every turn. Even my need for a little jug of milk to take up in the evening for tea in the room was noted and made easy for me :) The pool was amazing- same depth throughout so there was no concern whether anyone could stand at any point. The pool staff - fab. Helped move sun shades, found free sun beds and the free water in a cool box with towels was a thoughtful and very welcome touch. The restaurant staff were equally accommodating - even moving a table outside for us when they were very full one evening. The fresh fish was delicious and the staff helped make sensible decisions as to whether to share given size and cost. We chose to take a cookery class one afternoon and were so pleased we did. Lesley and Lena were so friendly y and welcoming and we learned to make the traditional ear-shaped pasta and simple sauce. It was so good and we have since made some at home and intend to continue trying to make different shapes - not sure shop bought pasta will ever make the grade again! The region too was gorgeous. We only managed to scratch the surface of villages and towns and will need to return to explore more (what a pity!?!). The hotel staff again were incredibly helpful suggesting places - providing information sheets with a brief history and suggested places to see and eat (and park!). They also helped persuade us the best times to go to avoid crowds/heat and make the most of our time. We loved Ostuni, Alberobello and Martina Franco. There was archaeology to visit nearby too and we did take a tour of the closest which was fascinating. We’d like to come back at a slightly cooler time of year to fully explore that aspect of the region. Our only comment would be that the housekeeping was fantastic - turndown service with homemade biscuits). However may be there could be a way of indicating whether towels need to be changed or can be reused to help the ecco criteria? In summary an amazing hotel in a glorious part of the world. Not cheqp but you can see and feel why. Thank you to all at Canne Bianche we had the best holiday!"
Hotel la Sorgente ★★★★
"After seeing the huge tourist population in Alberobello decided to stay in Savelletri by the ocean (just needed a temporary 1 night stay). It's a quieter place, meant for relaxing and enjoying the ambience. This hotel ended up being a great choice for the value - it's in walking distance to the small city area near by, very clean, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. All-in-all a great experience"
Park Hotel Sant'Elia ★★★
"My family and I stayed here whilst attending a local wedding. The rooms are basic, but they contain all that you need. The shower was really good and powerful. We had breakfast included which included pastries, ham, cheese etc - which was nice. The views from the hotel were lovely and the veranda area where you could have drinks was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a hire car and there was plenty of room for parking. A great hotel for a short break!"
Masseria San Giovanni - Epoca Collection ★★★★
"A jewel in the crown. Surrounded by olive trees, this hotel sits quietly and sublimely in the countryside. Perfect setting for an outdoor wedding and its guests. Food was very nice. Guest room was sparse on furnishings but served its purpose. Front desk welcome by a rude gentleman was a disappointment. Seemed annoyed taking me to my room and did not provide any hotel specifics. Check out young lady was complete opposite. With friendly demeanor, helpful and gracious. Note to hotel-eliminate the slacking guy- you def don’t want to be greeted by that negativity anywhere. But- did not dampen stay whatsoever."
Hotel Del Levante ★★★★
"We have been spending our holidays at this property for years and it is always a happy return. The strong points are certainly the strategic position, the cleanliness, the proximity to the private beach, the sea, swimming pool, bar, everything within reach. Most of the staff are always friendly and helpful. However, the kitchen and the organization of the restaurant room need to be improved. Unfortunately the cuisine is no longer like the old days, the initial vegetable buffet has been eliminated, the fish first courses (with little fish), the side dishes repetitive and not 4 star. Unfortunately the dining room staff was constantly changing and, despite their good will, this created great disorganization and delays. Finally, as always, the Eureka animation was excellent, thanks to Diego and his entire team."
L'Antico Trullo ★★★
Agriturismo I Pozzetti ★★★
"Beautiful location. A very suggestive farm, especially in the evening. The junior suite is beautiful, spacious and bright. Breakfast with good products and homemade cakes. The very kind staff, a special thanks to Sara and Sabrina. Thank you for your availability and thank you Sabrina for your wonderful smile, which makes you feel at home."
B&B Il Fiorone ★★★
"Convenient, quiet and peaceful location. Very nice location, new, clean, tidy and spacious. Rooms always clean. Very large outdoor spaces. Elisa is always ready to fulfill every wish or need. We had a great time!!"

Masseria San Martino
"Masseria San Martino was a wonderful place to stay for peace, quiet and tranquillity. It has extensive grounds in the olive groves. We were very well looked after by Conchetta and Teresa - with Conchetta providing us with a wonderful breakfast every morning. Our room was immaculately clean and we slept very well each night on the comfortable bed. It was room 9 up the stairs and you had a great view across the olive groves to the sea. The Masseria was well placed for exploring the towns of the Itrian valley or the coast. A car is advised though to get around. We couldn't have asked for more."
GranSerena Hotel
"This is the second year that we have stayed at the Gran Serena Torre Canne for a burraco event: location, food, cleanliness, hospitality and availability, 10 and praise. I have already recommended it to 2 families of friends who have booked for August. Happy to have seen the director again, always present and available. See you next year"
Casale del Murgese Country Resort
"In 2/2024 I booked a room for 6/2024. In 4/2024 I had to cancel my reservation. This was well within their cancellation refund deadline policy. They told me that they would refund my deposit, but they said they could not do it on my credit card. They asked for my bank account information, so they could transfer the money directly into my bank account. I provided them all of the requested information and they finally said my refund was in process & would hit in a couple of days. It’s two weeks later and still no refund…and they are not responding to my emails. Their terrible lying & customer service has left me no choice but to dispute the charge on my credit card and to share my concerns in reviews. Please beware if you make a deposit on your credit card as they don’t honor their own cancellation refund policy. Give your business to a more trustworthy resort….there are many other nice options in the area."
Masseria San Domenico - Preferred Hotels & Resorts
"The absolute excellence of southern Italy—more precisely, Apulian—hospitality. Everything here is close to perfection: the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious (even the lower categories), the location is calm, and the restaurant is more than good and very flexible. Even if there are many guests, you never have the sensation of crowdyness. Unassuming, invisible, but excellent and friendly service. Difficult to find flaws."
Bambarone la Masseria
"This property caught our eye when planning a trip with friends. It looked beautiful in the photos. When we arrived we discovered the photos don’t do it justice! Pierfrancisco and his team are amazing. The attention to detail, incredible food, beautiful gardens and amazing rooms far exceeded our expectations. Always happy to chat and passionate about the fully refurbished property, Pierfrancisco booked us taxis, advised us on where to go in the bad weather and was always there when we needed him. Can’t wait to return."
Rocco Forte Masseria Torre Maizza
"The Hotel Masseria Torre Maizza is a gem in Apulia. We have been coming here for 5 years now and we are always impressed by the magic of this hotel. Each room has its own charm, sometimes with a pool or a garden. The view of the countryside and the sea is unique. The family atmosphere makes this place a very special experience. The hotel has a fantastic pool with an outdoor restaurant. The hotel director Franco Girasoli and his entire team make you feel like you are part of the Roccoforte family. Here you experience 5 star service from its best. Pure luxury."
Masseria Torre Coccaro
"What a beautiful place with fantastic food and amazing staff. A special mention to Natale, without doubt one of the nicest barmen I have ever come across."
Masseria Calderisi
"Beautiful setting, food is fabulous but the staff is what makes this place special especially Mimmo!! He greeted us with a warm smile every day and made sure we were enjoying our stay. The beach club is also fun and has great people watching.."
Hotel Sierra Silvana
"We had a great time with my family....Wonderful place...the air you breathe is something magical. To be recommended to everyone, then there is the swimming pool and the Padel which never hurts. Not to mention the restaurant, excellent service with a excellent quality of food. Recommended for both families and young couples!"
Masseria San Lorenzo Resort
"We felt incredibly comfortable during our 10-day stay at this exclusive Masseria. Angela, her family, and all the staff took wonderful care of us. Breakfast was superb, and the restaurant offered high-quality local specialties made with regional products in a truly special atmosphere. The wine selection and the expertise behind it were top-notch. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, with meticulous attention to detail. Overall, it's a very special and beautiful blend of a historic building with modern touches. Great care was taken to reconstruct the original historical features during the renovation (which was completed in December 2024 after five years of work). The grounds are wonderful, with ancient olive trees and expansive grounds. A large pool nestled in the beautiful surroundings completes the feeling of well-being. The sea is only 10 minutes away, and the town of Fasano, just a few minutes away, invites you to stroll and enjoy the evenings. We will gladly visit Angela and her team again soon!"
Donna Lucrezia
"More than a B&B, it's a villa divided into several rooms, the latter of which are tiny, bordering on caustophobic. Limited on-site parking, a pleasant welcome but nothing more; once you enter the room you're left to your own devices. Breakfast is makeshift, without even a hint of the classic croissants."
Masseria Lama d'Impisa
Masseria San Francesco
"The hotel has a beautiful environment, the room is big enough, comfortable, the breakfast choice is average, the hotel staff is very helpful, help me solve my own car rental problem, the location is convenient, and I will go to the surrounding town quickly by car."
Al Mirador Resort
"I recently stayed at Hotel Almirador for 4 nights. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing and did not match the expectations created by the hotel’s website and promotional photos. The biggest issue was the apparent mismatch between the advertised images and the reality of the hotel. The website presents a vibrant, modern property with attractive facilities, but the actual hotel felt bland, dated, and under-equipped. The pool area and public spaces looked very different from the marketing materials and lacked the atmosphere shown online. Service was also far below expectations. There appeared to be no chef on site and food and drink options were very limited. During the day, there often seemed to be only one member of staff covering service, and there was no visible customer-facing reception or service team available when assistance was needed. One example is when my husband asked for a cold beer there was none in the fridge and we had to walk around the grounds to find someone to ask. Another example is we needed a snack before leaving to go to a wedding, and all they could offer was a bland cheese and ham toastie. The furnishings throughout the public areas were basic and inexpensive, with plastic chairs and low-quality furniture that felt inconsistent with the image the hotel promotes. The lobby, dining areas, and pool surroundings all felt under-resourced and lacked the standard you would expect at this price point. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of interest in guest feedback. Despite having ongoing communication with the hotel via WhatsApp during our stay, when we checked out the bill was simply handed to us without anyone asking about our experience or whether there had been any issues. The one positive aspect was that our room was clean and generally well maintained. However, this was not enough to compensate for the shortcomings elsewhere in the hotel. Overall, I felt that Hotel Almirador offered very poor value for money, it is overpriced, especially when compared with nearby hotels that appeared to provide significantly better facilities, service, and atmosphere at a similar price point. I would not return and would encourage prospective guests to look carefully beyond the promotional photos before booking. If anyone from the management would like to discuss you have my number."
Bianco Riccio Suite Hotel
"We just left after five days. We travelled all over the region and stayed here. I can see why it’s #1. Even before we arrived they arranged our rental car and a pick up from our hotel in Sorrento. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are very accommodating. Anything we needed they were there. Our room was totally good with a balcony overlooking the pool. Pool area and gym were both great too. We would definitely stay here again."
Masseria Sottomasi
"We spent a wonderful eight days at Masseria Sottomassi which surpassed all expectations. We were a group of 14 for a special birthday celebration. The grounds, the thoughtful & imaginable interior design of the rooms and natural beautify of the regions also exceeded expectations. The property is well placed to access the coast & beach clubs, to gorgeous small Puglian hill towns & history. Thousands of olive trees, some of which are thousands of years old stand out. The staff of Sottomasi make it shine! From Pino & Zeto, to the kitchen crew to of course Ruth for her vision. A holiday that will stay in our hearts. It’s a special place we already want to return to."
