"We stayed here for 2 nights in late May ‘14 at the end of our three week exploration of the Var and Cote d’Azure. We wanted a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel in an interesting region not too far from Nice. The Hotel Les Oliviers was a good choice, though if this were at the beginning of our trip we might have chosen a hotel more central to the old town area. Les Oliviers is located at the base of the old town on the main road. This was convenient for exploring the area but it was a bit far to walk to the old core. Driving was no problem, however, and there was a fair amount of public parking higher up. The hotel is attractively designed as an older building from the outside but is quite modern on the inside. Our room (203) was large and well laid out with adequate room for suitcases and storage. There was a desk, tv stand, comfortable double bed with two night stands, a built in closet (no safe), a coffee maker and small refrigerator. The bathroom was also large and attractive with a shower only. The included wife worked well. Breakfast was extra (10e), served in a pleasant area off the lobby. We didn’t try it so we can’t evaluate the quality. The pool area was inviting but the weather was still a bit cool for us. There is some parking available next to the hotel, and more in a small shopping area adjacent to it. A definite positive feature for us was the friendly, helpful staff who helped us with our luggage (no lift) and with information about the area. They also made good restaurant recommendations. Overall the Hotel Les Oliviers was very good value, comfortable and convenient."

"Our 3rd stay and certainly wont be our last! 10 days of pure relaxation, comfort and true hospitality from Philippe and Geert was amazing. Mas Christine is certainly a hidden gem in Fayence. Nothing is ever too much trouble, from fresh pastries every day by the pool, to advice on restaurants and even the name of the pharmacies and doctor when our son was not well. We cannot recommend it enough. Thank you both so much and we will see you again soon!"

"From the moment we arrived we were treated like family by Rupert and Christophe. Nothing was too much trouble. Restaurants were booked, suggestions given and everywhere we went on their fabulous property the views were amazing. The pool is gorgeous and with so few rooms, it feels like your own. The outside kitchen and bar is a lovely and useful touch. Breakfast is a wonderful affair with Rupert’s never ending hospitality ensuring you get everything that you want and some you didn’t even know you wanted! Inside the house is sumptuous and the rooms are beautifully presented, with very comfy huge beds (my wife and I are both very tall). The bathrooms are very swish with fancy taps, tiles and proper showers. We had a lovely time. Thank you."

"SITE A NE SURTOUT PAS RETENIR !!!! Au delà de la publicité mensongère (supérette, salle de sport, restaurant ＞ il n’y a rien de tout cela), le service laisse à désirer pour ne pas dire inexistant. Dans les maisons : vous récupérez une maison dans laquelle le ménage n’est pas fait - la plaque électrique chauffe de manière catastrophique, pas de plan de travail, pas de rangement pour les courses…. Le mobilier est vétuste voire très abimé. La Clim est faible à l’étage donc voilà les nuits…. Et de surcroît nos amis les moustiques…. Et ce n’est pas faute d’avoir appelé les services techniques…. Allez demander un barbecue c’est 15 balles. Le wifi streaming est payant. Changer les serviettes ? C’est payant. Appeler l’accueil ? Il n’y a personne entre 12 et 15h et ça ferme à 18h. Nous avons de fait effectué sans attendre une demande de réclamation à Lagrange, car c’est vraiment inacceptable pour un site soi-disant quatre étoiles. J’ai croisé beaucoup de personnes qui se sont plaintes, et qui se sont même embrouillés avec le directeur qui n’a pas l’air conscient du fort potentiel du site et qui le laisse mourir plus qu’à petit feu. Pour contrebalancer, heureusement qu’il y a l’équipe d’animation qui fait ce qu’elle peut pour animer le site avec des moyens dérisoires et les gens du bar sympathiques. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de formule Happy Hour. Rien ne vaut un 4 étoiles à l’étranger c’est triste à dire mais c’est la réalité. Si j’avais lu les commentaires avant de choisir notre lieu de vacances, je ne serai jamais venu ici. Nous avons certes réservés par un tiers mais Lagrange Vacances est responsable du contenu publicitaire publié sur ces sites. Même sur le site de Lagrange Vacances est mentionné la présence d’une supérette. A FUIR !!!!"
