"The hotel location is not very scenic. The big swimming pool was not open when we checked in at the end of April (why not make sure all facilities are available before allowing us to check in?). There is only a small swimming pool outside the gym :(, which is heated. The room I booked has a jetted tub. The water temperature was very hot on the first day, which was fine. When I wanted to use it on the second night, I found that it was room temperature and I couldn't take a bath at all. I communicated with the reception and he said he couldn't do anything about it. The temperature is controlled by the hotel and guests cannot adjust it. Pressing the temperature increase button didn't work :(. In addition, no cleaning staff came to tidy up the room during the day on the second day. The food, service and environment of the restaurant are all good."

"The Pantokrator Hotel is a no-frills, good quality hotel with spectacular views and provides everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. Our rooms had air conditioning, a fridge to store drinks, comfortable beds and basic shower rooms - everything worked fine with no issues. Each room had a small balcony with a stunning sea view. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained with a lovely pool area. There were lots of different types of sun loungers for relaxing, with a large swimming pool and smaller paddling pool. There is a large restaurant with outdoor terrace and pool side snack bar selling food and drink at reasonable prices. There is also a small gym for the holiday fitness fanatic, which is quite well equipped. We stayed half board and the food at breakfast and in the evening was plentiful, fresh with a good variety of choices. The hotel provides free WiFi which worked fine both in our rooms and around the pool. The hotel is perched on the side of a mountain and the rooms are laid out in a series of terraces above the main reception and restaurant building. You need to be prepared to walk up lots of steps or steep slopes to get to your room, so the hotel is not suitable for those with mobility issues. There is a free shuttle service which will take you between your room and the main road but we didn’t bother with this. All in all we had a lovely stay at the hotel, the staff are great and provided excellent service - 5 stars."

"5 out of 5 Review was based on such a great Hotel some rooms did need a up lift,The family was great and asked if we where ok every morning which was nice, the pool, rooms and area where well looked after giving us a home feeling which was great.The hotel is close to a road which didn’t bother us it was still nice to wake up to sunshine pool views and nice light Breakfast. We hired a car so it was great area where the hotel was situated so gave us opportunities to discover the island which wasn’t to far to travel Definitely would go again and recommend to stay here thank yo to the Hotel staff"

"I went there for 2 weeks during October combining business and some relaxing moments. First of all I love the area. It has some nice restaurants, beach bars, clean beaches and crystal waters, mini market and bakery all very close, no more than 3 minutes walking distance. The apartment had a separate bedroom, bathroom with shower and living room with open plan kitchen. Everything you need is there. Kitchen fully equipped with all appliances, a real size oven with stove, fridge, washing machine, espresso and filter coffee machine, microwave and many many more. A comfortable bed and 2 TVs, one in the living room and one in bedroom. The space was very clean and cozy. There is also a private car parking space. But the best part for me was the large terrace with stunning nature views. It was quiet this time of the year but not secluded. There is an uphill climb to the main road, but a car is recommended to explore the island. I will definitely go back"

"Location, location, location.........key words when you are looking for accommodation. Everything about Rivendell Apartments is amazing and I pray and hope you are willing to read my praise all the way through. The apartment was very big and lots of space and amazing to sit on the balcony in the sun and just relaxing and hear the sound of the birds or read and have a drink. The owners and host are amazing people in every sense of the words. Their hospitality is beyond anything. The food at the restaurant is made fresh every single day from the best ingredients possible. The cocktails are amazing and that Greek coffee in the morning and the dessert with it is totally to die for. The apartment is made up with fresh towels every single day so basically you are like king in this perfect environment with trees, calmness and the feel of the wilderness around you. The host can help you with a rental car or you can get a taxi or rent a car from the airport. It take around 23 minutes to reach the destination and it also only take 23 minutes to get to the old town and shorter distance to the beach. I strongly recommend this accommodation for you, no matter if you are staying for a night or two. We were there for 8 nights and we are going back again next year for 2 weeks plus. Trust me........This was the best trip we have had in MANY years and totally worth it in every sense of the words. Join my experience and when in Corfu, stay at Rivendell Apartments. It´s so worth it....................."
